I am not a professional reviewer, and this is just my opinion.
Yesterday afternoon June 10th, three countries in three hours... Norway, Denmark, Sweden, a first for us... We are now in Angelholm, a lovely town in Skåne - Southern Sweden - where I first met my friend Sven in 1962... We're staying at the Klitterhus Hotel, where back then people from all around (and a frisky student from Southern France...) would gather on weekends to dine and dance. On the second floor, there was a large ballroom with a live band, a huge bar and a small casino. The restaurant was - and still is - downstairs, but the ballroom has been turned into a 14-room hotel, where we're occupying Room #6, with great views of the beach. They have kept the original hardwood floors, for me a trip down memory lane, because on that floor I took many a lovely local blonde for a spin or two... It was late when we got there, but the kitchen obligingly stayed open for us and served us a terrific three-course special dinner-of-the-day. Breakfast, by the way, was also excellent with many choices. Delightful, helpful service was offered at all times.
One caveat, though: if the restaurant is holding a dance or some sort of special event, don't expect to sleep upstairs until midnight - or unless you use earplugs. And if the wind starts blowing hard from the Northwest, the waves can get rather noisy. But when the stars align, Klitterhus is a delightful, romantic throwback from the past.

Room Tip: We loved room #6 for the views.

This hotel is in old building but everything worked well and the rooms and all is beautyfully taken care of. We ate three course dinner at their own restaurant and food was very tasty and cooked professionally. Hotel room was very spacy, bathroom was new and clean(maybe a bit small). Beds and beddings were new and seemed good quality. I have to give extra thanks to hotel's very professional personnel!

We stayed here for one night on our way back to the UK by car. I wanted to stay at a beach in Sweden as I wanted somewhere nice to relax and unwind after our long journey. It was a hot day when we arrived and the room was lovely with a fantastic view of the beach. We had dinner in the restaurant which was downstairs and got a seat where we could view the lovely sunset. Food was great and oh the beach was just FAB! We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a gem! Stayed one night for a conference and was pleasantly surprised.
The room was charming and clean with squeaking wooden floors and a light interior. It had a small but functional bathroom and the bed was comfortable but the pillows a bit lumpy. The view from the room was fantastic and it kind of made up for the lumpy pillows!

It was a very pleasant stay and we were very well taken care of for two conference days. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The hotel is small and homely in a great setting and would be a good choice for a romantic stay as well.

This is one of the nicest small Hotel we have stayed at! Only about 18 rooms and the location
is only 15 meters from the sea. Walking in the morning on the 8 km beach is fantastic and our 2 Pugs loved it!! Lunch and evening dinner at the windows facing the sea and the are of Kullaberg is so nice. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the menu in the restaurant is not large but of very high quality. This is a place that we for sure will return to when we will just leave the daily life and just want to find peace and calm.

Room Tip: Choose on of the room facing the sea. It is worth every SEK just to sit down and look out through th...

Stayed at the hotel for a few nights in November 2012. What a stunning place. Excellent staff, very helpful. Evening food was fantastic. Breakfast wasn't the best - maybe some hot food, waffles etc would be good!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars. It was only let down by the beds which were 2 singles joined together. Otherwise almost faultless. It is on the pricey side but so is everything in Sweden.

Staff: Exceptionally welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble

Rooms: Big, bright, large windows, stunning views. Quaint decor.

Breakfast: Typical scandanavian. Very nice. Also great croissants and amazing bread. Best marmalade Ive ever had!

Restaurant: Excellent food. The chef is very good.

It appears to live in the nostalia of the olden days with lots of images of the property in its heydey (if you can call it that).

There really isnt all that much to do in Angelholm. Take a boat trip from the marina into town. Enjoy a drink in the main square. If you can handle it take a dip in the ocean like the locals.

Room Tip: Ask of seaview room when booking.
