A new hotel jut 10 mins walk from the city center. The self service concept is great. Spacious clean room with everything i needed. There is no restaurant, just a self service shop like area where you can buy drinks/salads/sandwiches etc. Free wifi.

As others have said this is a new "self service" hotel concept. However there was a very helpful and friendly staff member on duty who helped us check in using the airport type check-in machines. He readily admitted they were having teething problems as they had only recently opened. That was evident when we found our room (we took a large double) had only been prepared for single occupancy. That was quickly resolved with the arrival of more towels and another duvet.
Two suggestions. A bath mat for the bathroom as the floor gets slippery after a shower. And a hair dryer perhaps for the ladies?

Room Tip: We chose a large double room. Spacious, light and airy. Bed was particularly comfortable. Quiet peac...

Stayed at the Hotel Finn for 4 nights for a work event. First problem, not theirs, they didn't have a reservation for me, they handled it just fine. Gave me a room, no problem and said I could sort it out in the morning. Well handled! Rooms were big and cozy. Hot due to the unseasonable summer and no air-conditioning, but you don't often need it in Sweden. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and free WiFi was available and good quality.
Most complaints are about the breakfast. I didn't get the breakfast bag, but it's typical fare for here, not typical fare for American style breakfast.
The Finn is a good walking distance to downtown Lund and there are nice restaurants there. I'd stay there again.

This is a very new concept for an hotel. When you enter you see 2 terminals who can help you to check in and out. The design of the place is nice and clean. In the rooms there is a lot of IKEA. The bathroom is spotless and very smart with the shower doors that you can put away so the room get's bigger. Very comfortable studio and also equipped to cook a simple meal. The only point I want to make is that the bed lights are too close to the middle of the bed, just where you want to put your pillow behind your head to watch TV. The check out procedure is a bit complicated and suboptimal via the terminal. The personal is very helpfull.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. When you are lucky you even can use the bikes in the storage on the ground floor.

Be aware: we booked the first night via the Tourist Information just over the border with Denmark and situated after the bridge from Copenhagen. The price was much higher than the hotel charged themselves.

Room Tip: We had a studio at the front where the road is. There are also rooms at the back that are presumably...

This is a new hotel and it is such a great concept. I was in Lund visiting my daughter so just had a single room (which was adequate, but not as good as some of the larger rooms sound). The room was relatively small but perfectly outfitted with IKEA (I imagine), and there was a massive lounge room upstairs (with books, magazines, tv, wifi and board games), and a kitchen. Food was available for purchase, although I got mine in the supermarket and cooked it myself. A dishwasher would have been good, as I was reluctant to wash the plates and put them back on the shelves without detergent,so ended up leaving them on the bench. This is another remote hotel, checkin is done by phone/computer and then everything else is automated. The only problem I struck was when the internet went down as I was trying to work, and on calling them, they said it would be rebooted Monday (this was Friday) when the staff came in. I think they need to consider their customer service. However, I enjoyed the stay, the location was about 15 mins walk from the centre of the town but absolutely fine, and the added bonus was a washing machine and gym!!

Room Tip: I was on level 1 which was actually the basement, and a very tiny window, but maybe this is where th...

This is a new hotel (opened February 2012) and there are a few teething problems, for example the duvet did not quite fit the double bed, but the rooms are like studio apartments with a sofa bed, kitchen area and a big tv at the end of the bed that swivels so that you can watch it in bed or from the sofa. I would recommend it to anyone. It is close to the motorway if you are coming by car but only a ten minute walk into the town centre. The staff are very helpful and there is a free table football in the lobby! What more could you want?
