Firstly this is the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in, and the beds are perhaps the best also. Had a great nights sleep both nights. The showers are super powerful and hot. Staff are friendly, breakfast is good, and the location is fantastic.

I travel to Malmo at least once a month on business and this is my number one choice every time. I have tried many other hotels but this one is by far the nicest. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever experienced in any hotel and the showers are the most powerful I have experienced. I do not have a bad word to say about the hotel and indeed the Elite group of hotels.
If you can, it is worth upgrading to a junior suite - they are very very nice.
Particular points I like are the room lighting, air con, beds, shower, marbled bathrooms, mini-bar and the air freshener smell that is in the corridors :-) I would love to find how to buy that smell!

There is also a sauna and gym which sadly I have not tried yet!

The breakfast is also fab. Lots and lots of choice.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a junior suite - it is well worth it!

We stayed in Elite Plaza Hotel for a night only, but we were more then pleased. The room was very clean and spacious, with a super comfy bed. Duvets and pillows were also nice make and very cosy. There was a kettle with a selection of tea, hot chocolate and coffee and an iron!! Great! Normally I have to carry my own travel iron (which is not the greatest one to be used) or ask for one.. Maybe a small think but put a big smile on my face. Bathroom was also big, nice and comfy. And one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel! Big selection of continental and local produce, waffer machine and even a real whipped cream! Yummy! The hotel itself is in a centre of the city, close to restaurants, bars and shops. I'd highly recomment this hotel for anyone staying in Malmo, great value for monet too. We paid around £90 for 4*, which is more than reasonalbe considering prices in Sweden. Hopefully we will be back in Summer and definitelly we will book EPH again.

Nice and clean. OK service. Breakfast not quite up to standards and no refill half an hour before closing! I´ve been staying at quite a few Elite Hotels and this is not one of the best, location ok, clean, small rooms, inexpensive for Sweden, (malmö hotels are quite reasonable). All in all an ok place to sleep and not much more.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Located close to sights/shopping/bussiness/parks/whatever you are up to! Room ok, clean, with all facilities needed (inc. complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate and iron with ironing board). Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with huge selection of local and international food. Very satisfied.

We were in Malmo for the World Junior Hockey tournament in December 2013. We had booked the hotel long in advance, without really knowing a lot about the city. The location of this hotel worked out perfectly for us. It was so close to the shopping/central area where there are tons of restaurants. Also walking distance to local museums, parks, and the Mollan district. Most of the hockey games for team Canada were at the smaller arena, which was also only 20-25 minutes walk. And on days we needed to take the train to the big arena, it's less than 10 minutes to walk to the Central Station. So couldn't ask for a better location.

We were also pleased with the hotel itself. It was clean, the beds were super comfy, the room was nice and dark at night, (we couldn't believe how late we slept while we were there compared to at home), and very quiet. We had also brought our own "top sheet" just because it's what we're used to in North America, and just spread it under the two separate duvets, and were wonderfully cozy. Apparently some rooms have been renovated - we visited friends that had hardwood floor, while ours had carpet (that had seen better days), so perhaps ask for a renovated room if you go. Some rooms also have bathtubs vs the shower. The shower is different from a North American shower, being open to the rest of the bathroom, but we had no issues with water getting everywhere. They don't have facecloths, so bring those along with you (we ended up buying some at one of the larger stores in the area).

Breakfast was great - lots of options, including the waffle maker, eggs, bacon/sausage, cereal, cheeses, meat, bread, juices, yogurt, fruit, etc.

The lobby/lounge area was nice to hang out in, and they had made sure to have a TV set up so people could keep up on the tournament and watch other games. The staff were helpful as well. One of the days, we had managed to lose our game tickets, so emailed the front desk and they reprinted them for us. They were able to assist with the public transit, directing us to the correct bus/train, and where to get the "jojo" card for discounted transportation.

Certainly no complaints, and would absolutely return to this hotel if we find ourselves in Malmo again in future. Lovely city - would like to go back when it is summer as I think it has a lot more to offer in summer.
