I stayed here recently for five nights and overall I was happy with this hotel. The hotel is clearly very new and is in what can only be desribed as an up and coming neighbourhood. The seafront is close by and it's about a 20 minute flat walk into the city centre. Alternatively the number 3 or 2 bus takes less than ten minutes to get to the central station but, beware, you cannot buy tickets on the bus. You'll need a Jojo card, which can be bought at the massive supermarket across the road from the hotel, and loaded with as much credit as you like, or a 24 hour pass which can be purchased at the tourist office for 65 kronor: Both are good options but I chose the latter, which proved terrific value (especially if making more than three journeys per day).
My room at the hotel was light and airy and I personally found the bed to be very comfortable. The bathroom (though there was no bath) was the modern wet room style. The shower was most efficient and there was seemingly endless hot water. There was a modern t.v. in the room, with regular English speaking channels, though much of this was American dross. There was also a kettle (but with only fairly hideous powdered milk for the tea and coffee) and a safe. No fridge, however.
The downside of the room was very 'iffy' wifi that would regularly 'disappear'. Ok, I was on the 7th floor (at my own request) but I would have thought that in a place that prides itself on being a business hotel efficient wifi on any floor should be a given.
I also couldn't turn off the air-con completely. I'm not sure why some hotels do this, especially in a room that had a window that could be opened, but it's an irritation when it happens.
Breakfast was excellent and included cooked options and - amazingly so far from home - proper brown sauce! Bravo. I had a couple of beers from the bar and these were not outrageously priced - most alcohol is in Sweden except during 'after work' (usually 16.00 - 18.00).
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and, like everywhere in Sweden (or so it seems), their English was excellent.
I suppose in truth I would really like to rate this hotel as 4.5 but as the system doesn't allow for that it has to stay a 4.
