The old part of the hotel is horrible. The rooms are either cold or very warm, in this case you can´t open the windows. The staff is not really well trained in running a hotel.
Don´t stay here! Anywhere in Malmö should be better!

The hotel has been recently renovated, so everything is shiny new. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free coffee/tea and cookies are available in the breakfast room 24/7. Free Wi-Fi is also available. All in all, it is an excellent hotel, and I can highly recommend it to anyone.

For a english resident used to the idea of a value hotel being little more than bed and breakfast, to find the level of service here to be so high is not only shocking but delightful. For the price charged the provision of so much food was extraordinary and to have it provided in a homely fashion was completely relaxing. For once a hotel that makes you want to move in permanently and with the unexpectedly high level of service from all staff members and the provision of facilities saved me a considerable amount of money from what i had planned for. In my experience i simply do not ever expect to receive such value for money again, until i return here.

From the outside the building looks prommising, but emediately when I stepped through the menthol-green and old-pink entrence the hope sank to my knees. My mind went back to the old Scandic high-way motels before they vere renovated in the late 90´s, but without anywhere to park by the entrence when I´m unpacking the car.
The hotel have no own parking so I´m recomended to the public parking across the street by the Central Station so I´m forced to empty my car. I´m traveling with a lot of luggage so just getting inside the building is tricky when there´s no visible door-opener. The hevvy doors into the corridors have no opening-assistance at all.
The cramped double-room is totaly stripped from everything that might give you a warm welcome. The thick 4:3 TV-set is taking space on a vobbely wheel-stand. The step up into the minimalistic bathroom gives a feeling of being in a train coupé. A large yellow sign on the inside of the door demands you to be awere of the slippery floor.

Morning: The breakfast restaurant have a smaller but mostly organic buffét. But hereit ends. During my 25 minutes long breakfast the personal isn´t able to clear the over-full tray-rack. The bacon is pale and almost uncoocked. Breadcrumbs, jam, butter and stains of coffie everywhere. Even on my supposed to be washed tray. Come on!!!

Probably the fastest ever check in taking a matter of seconds. Room was clean and cosy, with a very comfortable bed. Free wifi and staff were pleasant. Decent selection of TV channels showing English language films. Bathroom was small, but perfect fine. Buffet breakfast was pretty good, although I couldn't see any milk for cereal - everyone seemed to be eating theirs with yoghurt, so it seems that the done thing in Sweden - didn't taste too bad. Fairly decent selection. On Sundays, check out is 6pm, and breakfast served til noon, which is great considering the rate (GBP 35).

Overall I was quite satisfied with my weekend stay.

I chose this hotel for its competitive price and convenient location next to Malmö central station. Booked my stay on Comfort Hotels own website - booking process short and easy, single room at an unbeatable weekend rate of 430 SEK/night.

Check-in was quick and I felt welcome - main asset of this hotel is the friendliness of the staff. During my entire stay every staff member was welcoming and helpful, though unobstrusive.
The room itself is small and offers basic amenities only: limited closet with a few coat hangers, small desk with a chair, basic but comfortable bed, Obviously it is more functional than luxurious, but enough for a short stay.
Bathroom is also small but shower and WC were spotlessly clean. On the downside the bathroom lighting is rather poor (too dark); I am also missing some paper tissues.

Breakfast buffet is well-presented and tasty. I appreciated the large choice of organic products regarding food e.g. yoghurts, herrings, bread as well as drinks e.g. fair trade coffee. Otherwise large choice of cold meats, vegetables, herrings. Warm food included meatballs, sausages and scrambled eggs. Impressive choice of breads and cereals. On the downside there were not any morning newspapers in the breakfast room.
It is a particularly nice touch to have coffee/tea free of charge in the lobby - on afternoons there are also some waffles with strawberry jam and topped cream.

Two Internet computers are available at no cost in the lobby - both worked properly with a reasonably fast connection.

The weekend rate of 430 SEK offered an unbeatable value for money. On the contrary I find weekdays fares to be very high for this hotel category.
