Located close to the railway station and the city center. Good breakfast buffet. In fact we confirm everything that was said in the review made by "mullanrail". Nothing else to add except that it'a a good place to stay.

I am a regular visitor to Malmo, stating 20-30 nights each year in the city. I always stay at the Savoy and have to admit i never consider anywhere else.

The Savoy is an old hotel - the rooms are sometimes noisy, the water sometimes takes a while to get hot, the rooms are sometimes small, the prices are not always the cheapest. So why do I keep going back?!

For a start, you simply can't beat the location. Late night arrivals from Copenhagen airport mean just hop off the train and you are there. Then there is the service. Every staff member I have met really tries to make you welcome and it does help it feel a little more like home. If you join their frequent stayer program, the service is even better with free personalised gifts, discounted drinks/meals, priority on waiting lists etc. Wifi is free in the rooms for all guests.

I have stay in nearly every room in the hotel over the years. For regular rooms, Floors 2 and 3 are the best. Avoid the 6th "half floor" although in their defence many of these rooms have recently been renovated and are getting better.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the station. The reception staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The lift was a bit temperamental.

Our room was a fair size, and the TV was a good size with a good selection of channels. The beds were wonderfully comfortable,

We had a shower, but no bath, which was disappointing; though other rooms do have baths.

Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of food.

Savoy Hotel is very old.
The nice old restaurant and grill are gone.
Instead there is a pub and a french bistro.
Still I like the high class suites.
The location is the best in Malmö.
Good complementary breakfast.
Request suites 314 or 414.
James.

Has stayed two- three two times for business purpose. Nice lobby and very atomspheric well known pub but very old rooms. Feels like getting back to the 80's. This is not ok for it's pricing. Also the rooms are very small.

Nice breakfast, I have to admit.

I've stayed in the Savoy a couple of times before and most likely will do again in the future, the rooms are a little hit and miss, some are grand and opulent and some are a little dated but all are clean and comfortable.

My biggest gripe about this hotel is the noise, if you have a room facing the station you will have to contend with loud dance music into the early hours because of the nearby clubs. If you stay in a room facing a side street you will know you're in the city due to the late night revellers making themselves heard.

Best way to have a chance of a decent nights sleep is to request an internal room when you book. Or to book the Hotel Elite Residens around the corner, same brand, same great service but cheaper and quieter.

Staff are great, especially housekeeping, and the breakfast is very varied and fresh.

Room Tip: Go for high up and courtyard side.

We stayed here for 2 nights and very much liked the room, which was renovated and spacious. Great bathroom facilities as well. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. Definitely recommend this place if staying in mall. Oh and very handy location right near train station.
