There's really nothing at all not to like about this place, and much to appreciate and admire. The hotel is like those canal side places in Amsterdam, which look like small town houses on the outside, and then reveal themselves as a large hotel, which have taken over several adjacent places, on the inside...it's the same here, the hotel looks like a little place on a corner and then on the inside, like Dr. Who's Tardis, turns out to occupy much of the block! Anyway, it's a great place to stay..location is brilliant, staff are great, the inner atrium is lovely, our room was really excellent, breakfast was good, and there's nothing to cpriticise. For a price, they'll even park your car in their capacious underground car-park - brilliant! Go!

Stayed there for a week during a business trip. Spacious room with great amenities and good services. it almost feel like being at home. The breakfast is really good.

Really friendly staff.

Great location, minutes from Malmö central and only one block away from Lila Torg.

Worth mentioning you can rent a bike from the reception.

Room Tip: Avoid ground floor rooms

We stayed here last summer as part of a visit to southern Sweden, Stockhom and Copenhagen. The location was great, the staff very friendly and the breakfast just great. The breads in particular were lovely. There was coffee, biscuits and fruit available all the time in the lovely atrium which was a bonus. The room was a good size and very comfy. We did have a bit of noise with early deliveries one morning but in general noise was not an issue.
We hired bikes from reception one day which was a great way to see the city as it is so bike friendly. A smaller bike would have been great as I am petite but I managed fine.
We loved Malmo - the location by the sea, the people and old buildings and squares. Yes it's expensive by UK standards but for a short break it was great and as an experience it was very different. We would love to go back and if we do I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The Duck was something new as well as candel in bathroom..also old wood flooring... it felt more as an old house than hotel.. furniture. and etc...well a lot old is in Sweden but this wasnt disturbing but wasnt close to amazing. It was something new, something decent and ok .

Breakfast felt also like at some friendsplace more than a hotel.
I recommend it as some kind of a new expieriance and place to rest.

Room Tip: doesnt matter I guess

I went there with two kids, staying in a family room, which was spacious and well appointed. Everything was clean and the service was great, I did not feel that travelling with children was an imposition. The location is unbeatable and the hotel is actually way bigger than expected. I would most definitely recommend it.

Stayed here for a week during the cold wintery weeks of January and found the rooms spacious and comfortable, the service friendly and prompt with a superb location. While the hotel only serves breakfast, it is within walking distance to many excellent eateries. Stayed at the Marriott Renaissance across the way on previous trip and while also a pleasant stay, preferred Master Johan.

We had a very nice one night stay at this lovely hotel at Christmas 2014. We went by train to visit Malmö for the first time, and this hotel was very well located. Not far from the railway station and in the middle of the city centre. The service was very good and the rooms excellent. A beautiful bathroom too - held in blue, white and gold! And the breakfast was really excellent!
