Brilliant location, very short walk from train station, and to the big square. Good map provided with main sightseeing areas, I would recommend going out past the small square, to the park, then beyond this to the sea with good views of the Torso building. Can be done in an afternoon and was very pleasant. Staff were welcoming and helpful, rooms fine, clean and with a kettle, and an excellent breakfast spread including meatballs, cereals, bacon (HP sauce!), cold meats, seeds, fruit etc. However the best part was that we stayed a Saturday night and check out on Sunday was 6pm, with breakfast til 12. Absolutely brilliant and very welcome as we had to get the train to Copenhagen airport at about 5pm. We did a weekend break with Friday night in Copenhagen and Saturday in Malmo, we paid less here for this 4 star than for a basic, shared bathroom place in Copenhagen. Great value and very highly recommended on a Saturday night. That said that town itself seemed a little lacking in vibe of an evening...

Price of beer in Malmo was extreme (even compared to Copenhagen) - not the hotels fault though!

I really liked this hotel. It had just about everything right:
- wooden floor in the bedrooms
- plenty of electrical outlets in the bedrooms
- kettle for boiling water in the bedrooms, along with proper milk
- proper hangers in the wardrobe

Not only that, the staff were very helpful.

The one thing I thought was odd was the weight of the bedroom door. It was hefty. I am not sure if a frail person could open it themselves but I am sure the hotel staff would help if requested.

I spent there 4 nights last December. The price was 1300 SEK for 1 night in a junior suite size room(company rate).
The staff was attentive and willing to help even when I was trying to plan a short sightseeing trip. There is a gym, that is maybe not breathtaking but spacey.
The location is in the center of Malmo, there are many hotels in the vicinity however, so a vast choice.
Food was on a high Scandinavian level. I appreciated it a lot

I stayed here on a business trip - I got the train from the airport and then it was just a very short walk to the hotel which was ideal. Nicely decorated hotel with very friendly helpful receptionist who spoke excellent english.
The room I had was nicely decorated, a good size and had a nice bathroom with powerful shower - very clean. Fantastic breakfast buffet with loads of choice - overall this hotel was excellent value for money.

We stayed in a junior suite for 1260sek for 1 night, 2 adults and 2 kids. Masses of space with a separate rooms for the kids to sleep in. Plus a lounge area with sofa etc. Everything you would expect of a 4*, lots of towels, pillows, decent toiletries, drinks making facilities etc.. Breakfast was included and also very good. For the price and the standard I could not fault the hotel.
It is literally just 1 or 2 mins from the train station and less than 5 minutes to many excellent restuarants a little further into town. Perfect.

The location is convenient – only a short walk from the train station and right on the edge of the old town, very near the walking streets and the shopping areas of the charming city of Malmo. The hotel has an old look, but everything is clean and tidy, the bathrooms are modern and the area around the hotel is relatively quiet even on a Saturday evening. The old town has good shopping and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Breakfast at the hotel is good, you will find everything you need – and service is friendly and very helpful. If you book in advance you may find a double room for SEK 650 per night, including breakfast and a coffee maker in your room. This is very good value.

Excellent position, close to everything you might need for a short stay. Great value with the holiday discount. Standard breakfast, everything you need with nothing special. Appreciated the late breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. A bit noisy on weekend nights due to the bars and restaurants in the vicinity and the Central station just across the canal - noisy young people shouting and singing till 4.00 a.m.
