The room was very small, but clean, the staff was friendly. The location was great!
Breakfast was OK, although they could have cleaned the tables faster when someone left, so that they were available, and if they had refilled the buffet as well, it would have been a perfect stay!

I'm staying there every year during ØreDev conference. It's very nice hotel with excellent breakfast. I mean, really, breakfast is awesome. We always choose Cabin room without windows and it's the best value. As hotel room is used for only couple of hours every 'night' - the option is comfortable enough. Location of the hotel is also very good.

I love 'chromosomes' carpet in a hall ;)

Room Tip: Cabin room is small and without window but it's enough if you only sleep for couple of hours.

Typical Scandic hotel. Very good for one night stay if you don´t expect nothing special from your stay. Rooms are quite standard but ok, sleep quality typically very good, which I like. Breakfast good, Scandinavian standard. Central location close to Lilla Torget where you can find nice restaurants for dinner.

Three words sum up my opinion of this hotel ..... location, location, location. It is located right in the centre of the city! It can therefore be a great base from which to explore Malmo and all its attractions. With so many beautiful parks and squares within walking distance, transportation is not a problem. Whilst, for shoppers amongst you, there is a number of large retail stores literally on your doorstep. The hotel itself is typically scandanavian - functional without the frills. The rooms have what you require for a good night's sleep but not a lot else. Breakfast, however, should not be missed. Buffet style with a good variety of healthy fayre - eat as much as you want. Certainly a good way to start the day before you head out on foot from this central location.

Room Tip: Bring your walking shoes!

The check in was very efficient and the staff where great. The rooms are modern and renovated, except from the bathroom, at least it was not in our room 703. Beds lovely, soft and big. However, the pillows that where in the room was too thick, but worked. The big problem was the noisy fan drum or something similar. It started every 30 minutes and kept on going for like fifteen minutes every time. So, I didn't slept that many minutes that night. Try to get a room at the third floor or so. One of our friends stayed there and it was so quiet.

Room Tip: Avoid seventh floor. Try to find one on the third or below.

Stayed for one night on business but have stayed previously and at the other Scandics in Malmo and this is my least favourite. The hotel is quite basic and soulless. The room I had was tiny. Arrived after a long and hectic day approx 10:30 to find the bar closed. Got to the room and no kettle/tea/coffee which was very disappointing. Breakfast is ok fairly standard. The hotel is in a good location in central Malmo and approx 10 mins walk from the station.

Visited the hotel for a night in connection with a business trip to Malmö. Scandic chain of hotels are "factory-like" hotels. No atmosphere, same boring rooms and poor restaurant. Breakfast is assortment of big piles of meat and vegetables with scrambled egg from none tasting powder. Location of the hotel is only reason for staying there, with short distance to everything
