Nice hotel in a great central location. What amazed me was the price as it was the cheapest hotel available to us. It also turned out to be the cheapest stay on our Scandinavian tour. Not bad when it was supposed to be 4 star (although I think a 3 star category would be more realistic). There was no air con but weather didn't require it. The room was a spacious attic room. Clean and in very good condition. Shower no bath, which we came across in most hotels. The breakfast was substantial but limited hot choice as mentioned previously.
If arriving by car as we did, then you should be aware that the real hotel entrance is not on Gustav Adolfs Torg (the more interesting side) but around the back on a cul de sac called Per Weije or something. It was a bit frustrating when I initially got out of the car and couldn't get in. Thankfully I hadn't unloaded the before being told I needed to drive around the back. Decent size underground car park at approx £15 a night. Malmo is well worth a short stay and this is a nice hotel to lodge at.
