“I LOVE SUBMARINES”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

I visited the castle which is surrounded by a moat. There is a picnic courtyard and fashion museum in the castle. There are two other museums nearby-the commandants house and technical museum. Of the three the technical museum is great. Amongst an eclectic mix are lots of vehicles and equipment you can get close to and sit on. I have always wanted to drive a fire engine! The ex Swedish navy submarine U3 is open to the public. It is only small but great fun. The Dolls House exhibition is amazing.Overall a refreshing change.

“Very interesting technology museum”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Housed in the Malmoe castle, this museum is probably its best attraction. Vintage locomotives, tractors and motorcycles are on display, as well as very old fire truck, a submarine and a fighter jet.

If you have the time, you should drop by this museum. It has the history of technology here, you will even find a submarine where you can go in and see the inside.

“Fun place for all ages”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

Whilst the focus of the museum is sometimes a bit lost, yes it says maritime, but it doesn't stick to that, its all a bit jumbled, anyway, its also fun. Enjoyed the visit, especially the sub, U3. The best bit was that there was english words every where, worth taking the kids if you have them with you if not just go and enjoy the fun of the technology.

“Recommended Museum!”
Reviewed 27 March 2014

As part of our trip to Copenhagen, we decided to travel across the Øresund Bridge and spend the day in Malmo. After a breezy walk to look at the Turning Torso, we entered the museum which was very reasonable - 80 SEK (US$12.60) for two adults and two children (who were free!). The museum is well appointed and has lots to offer for everyone! It's not a massive museum, but includes a walk-through submarine, planes and cars. There is also an interesting section and exhibits on life in Malmo. There is also a wonderful area for younger children to play in, in the basement area of the museum. Since we only had a day, we missed out on the other nearby museum, but had a nice walk to the city center area.
