Owner description: Crawl into a real submarine and see exhibitions with focus on technology and seafaring. If you like to experiment, the Ideas Planet is an obvious favourite, and in the Boat Playroom all children are invited to play. The Science and Maritime House is part of the Malmö Museer.

It was a nice exhibit, I have to say that it was a bit short. I also saw the permanent exhibit. I would not have gone otherwise, but the entrance was cheap so I am happy I went. Love, love, love the submarine.

GREAT museum for kids or adults who like interactive museums :) My toddler had a blast in every section of this museum, and so did I! It is interesting and fun, and should be top on anyone's list who is visiting the area (southern Sweden, Denmark, wherever!) It is worth a side trip to Malmo just for this museum; simply amazing! Educational, fun, and diverse!

Make sure you check out EVERY corner of this museum, each area has its own unique appeal and information. Also, talk to the guys in the submarine! They are so nice, so helpful, and unbelievably cool (some of them served on that very sub!)

I visited the castle which is surrounded by a moat. There is a picnic courtyard and fashion museum in the castle. There are two other museums nearby-the commandants house and technical museum. Of the three the technical museum is great. Amongst an eclectic mix are lots of vehicles and equipment you can get close to and sit on. I have always wanted to drive a fire engine! The ex Swedish navy submarine U3 is open to the public. It is only small but great fun. The Dolls House exhibition is amazing.Overall a refreshing change.

Housed in the Malmoe castle, this museum is probably its best attraction. Vintage locomotives, tractors and motorcycles are on display, as well as very old fire truck, a submarine and a fighter jet.

If you have the time, you should drop by this museum. It has the history of technology here, you will even find a submarine where you can go in and see the inside.
