“Beautiful surroundings”

The hotel is located in a wonderful park and there is also a big outside waterpark. The hotel itself is not a terrific place. My room was big with twin beds, desk, a sofa, coffeetable and two chairs. But the furniture was dated and the bathroom was small with soapdispensers on the wall. The room was rather dark. Breakfast was OK and included in the rate. The staff was kind and helpful.

Stayed in Sept 2009. We were surprised at how huge our room was! Was it a suite? The room was booked for us by business associates who live there so not sure about room options. Quiet motel. Maid staff was great but spoke very little English, unfortunately.
Beautiful, safe surroundings and located beside a lovely, quiet park. Was a nice (tho slightly long- close to a mile I am guessing) walk to downtown so I was able to explore while my husband was in meetings all day. Did not feel like a 'touristy' area tho there were many things to see.
The water from the bathroom faucet was exquisite, luckily for me since you cannot find a bottle of water anywhere there that is not carbonated!
The only problem we had was with the room outlets. Our adapters for European electrical outlets kept falling out of the receptacles.
I loved that first visit so much that I think I could live in Sweden. Truly!

This is a pretty huge place and half of our group was in the main part by the entrance and the rest were way off in no man's land in a back wing of the hotel. We arrived hungry, so we checked if there was room service available and that was a big, fat, "No." OK, so off to the restaurant, which had a nice, sunny terrace. But we had to pre-order AND pre-pay cafeteria style at the entrance and there were *supposedly* only 3 things on the menu. Strange. So we all got the Swedish meatballs with boiled potatoes (except for our 1 vegetarian friend who asked if there was something vegetarian available because none of the 3 choices were, and was told yes, but they didn't know what it was - haha!) and the salad bar. It took a while for our food to come, but not before waitresses came around to us and various other tables shouting out various food dishes to see who'd ordered what, amongst which were dishes that were NOT part of those 3 choices we were given upon entry. What? Strange. Suddenly there's a chicken Caesar salad available? Anyway, it was kind of a mess, needless to say! Breakfast was pretty good, but you could only have it in the main dining hall (no in-room breakfast - darn!). My room was tiny, as was the bathroom and water sprayed and flooded everywhere when I showered. The bed was ok and there was a fridge. Wi-fi was also free - bonus. BUT the pool area and spa were fabulous! The weather was amazing while we were there and I spent a good 3 hours in the spa garden in the jacuzzis and basically had the place to myself (everyone else opted for the outdoor pool areas). Nice and relaxing! So don't expect a super luxurious hotel, but it has its bonus points.

This hotel is located in a great area if you are looking to get away and enjoy nature and kids screaming in the water park. There are very few food and entertainment choices outside of the hotel. The hotel itself offers lots of relaxation services, but the rooms are not very relaxing at all. The single bed room (which is actually two twins pushed together) was fairly modern and well laid out. The carpet was dirty and covered in stains. The bed was very uncomfortable, mainly because it was two beds pushed together. The room had a door that opened out to a small balcony, but there were no windows that could be opened to allow fresh air into the room. There was also no air conditioning which made the room warm and stuffy when the balcony door was closed. The curtains barely covered the windows so there was no way to block light from getting into the room. The shower was excellent, although it leaked all over the bathroom floor because of the way it was built. The bathroom was fairly small and left little room to put bathroom items. The TV in the room was terrible..a small, old tube TV that would cut in and out. There is no internet at this hotel. The only internet available is from the cloud, and that is very intermittent and only worked in parts of the hotel.
Don't stay at this hotel for the comforts of a nice hotel, they don't exist. Stay here if you are looking for some relaxation and nature.

This hotel looks fantastic from the outside and is ok on the inside. It's probably a better choice to go there in the summer period. I found the rooms ok, the restaurant ok but service level unfortunately not very impressive with two persons serving a lot of guests. Gym was ok but for a SPA-hotel I expect more. Breakfast was ok but most Scandic standard hotels in Sweden have a breakfast that is much better. So overall it's an ok hotel but I was not really impressed with anything but the view of the hotel.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel for business purpose.
The hotel staff is nice. The breakfast is correct but not as what I would have expected in a 4 star hotel (not international standard). The same for the room : clean, large enough, quiet, free wifi access but you have to pay a fee for film channels on the TV. good point : the balconny for smokers.
I globally recommend it.

We stayed at Ronneby Brunn for a week. i was dreading staying in a local hotel but was delighted upon arrival.
Nice looking hotel, well situated and only about 10 - 15 minutes from the aitport.
Reception staff were warm and efficient. We were very happy with our large and well
designed rooms. This is a 4 Star hotel so I was expecting a pretty bad room and bathroom but was pleasently surprised by both. No plasma but can't expect it the rates one pays for this hotel.
We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel.
With a couple of kids it can be a pretty tiresome affair but once again the hotel and it's fabalous staff showed i's true colours!
Children's menu was always available, all ( repeat) ALL the staff were kind and very kids oriented. Special thanks to Billy and his smiley female collegue who despite the fact that they had many, many guests somehow managed to remember what we likes and our room number! Amazing.
The Aqua Park was excellent and our kid's didn't really want to leave....
The restaurant served a nice breakfast buffet with nice little extra's and very good 2 course dinners. Staff at the restaurant were stressed but effective. Two head waiters, one who was
as friendly as the rest of the staff and then the slightly older gentleman who reminded me of
Basil Fawlty. highly stressed, strange mannerisms, quirky....
The bartender was great and makes a lovely Irish Coffee.
Free WiFi and a free PC for guests to use.
Great hotel, great management, great orices, excellent food, terrific staff!
All of the above were frankly unexpected.....

Room Tip: Try booking a room in the main building
