My partner and I went last night, we didn't book. This restaurant has just been redecorated after a fire and is very nice, modern and clean. We asked for a table for two and we were asked if we had booked? It wasn't full at 9.30pm but we were placed by the door entrance, where opposite people can sit and wait for their takeaways, which isn't really a nice table as you are being watched while you eat. We had two drinks, pompedomes, which were really nice then ordered the following chicken jelfrezie, chicken tikka bhuna, suppose to have fresh onions, tomatoes and coriander but unfortunately when our meals arrived they tasted like a strong paste and couldn't find them in our dishes and our dishes tasted both the same, the jelfrezie was suppose to have some spicy heat to it but was bland and had 1 green chilli placed on top, saffron rice (which is pilau rice) was dry and hard, mushroom pilau rice had plenty of mushrooms but was greasy, keema nan was very thin and hardly any spicy meat inside, peshwari nan thin. Service was quick but we didn't enjoy our meals and found some of the staff very abrupt, very quick to get your order and then for you to go. We were given a complimentary drink which was nice, but overhaul we were very disappointed. They do have a very varied menu and if you book a table in advance they give a 10% discount. Not the best curry experience for £33.80 and we will not be going back.
