Our group of six with varying interest in Italian food stumbled in here one Saturday night after mass. We were staying at Hotel Rival and got the recommendation.
We were seated in a room with only one other table, and a beautiful window. So we had a private dining room (no one was seated in our room during our meal) -- the quietest meal on our trip.
The special that night was Entrecote -- not a typical Italian dish -- but I loved mine. The group got on well with a variety of traditional Italian dishes. We had a great time.
The service was a little bit relaxed, but that suited us. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got through the limited English of our waiter just fine, and he was a delight (called over one of his colleagues). Great evening. Right on the cusp of five stars.
