I usually stay at the Hilton Slussen in Stockholm but needed one extra night to reach elite status at Radisson before New Year. This was a lucky move....This is a truly great hotel. Wonderful room, not that big but enought size. I could choose a shower instead of bath. Perfect room-service and the breakfast was the best ever. Takes 2 minutes to walk from the train station and 5 minutes to all shops. I highly recommend this hotel!

really good hotel just across the road from the airport express train.
Excellent service and really warm and welcoming.
Roaring fire in the lobby, nice bar, casino.
The most comfortable bed linen ever.
More expensive than others but worth it.
Good value Mongolian BBQ around the corner!!

Stayed two nights on a holiday. Arrived at 7:00 am and got the room immediately, that's service! Hotel is really clean and modern. Standard room was spacious enough and well equipped, though a bathtub would have been nice. Everything works really well. Breakfast has a huge selection of high quality products typical to international cuisine, highly recommended. Location is right next to central station, which is pretty close to everything and excellent for transportation.

We had the business class room on the 15th floor. The views were great - view of the city hall, waterfront, and you could see the old town in the distance. Room was spacious, heated bathroom floor, and the room had a Nespresso Machine with complimentary coffee / hot choc / tea etc. NOTE - If you want a room with a view, get the Business class rooms as the standard rooms are the opposite direction - so your view will be directly facing an office where you can see people working!! Not pleasant!!
As we were in the Business class, pay TV (movies) were included as well as the amazing breakfast. I really enjoyed the breakfast, the hotel provided a huge variety of food, including pancakes!

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to Ahlens, a huge department store selling everything, and a large supermarket on lower ground floor. To NK, Stockholm's premium department store, is about 10-15 minute walk. To the Old town, a casual stroll will take around 20 minutes. But there are shops all the way to there.

My only complaint was that the pillows were WAY too soft (feather) for me. Despite my request to change pillows, the hotel did not have any firmer pillows. This resulted in me having neck aches!

Room Tip: Choose a Business class room if you want a room with a waterfront view!

Newish business hotel next to the congress centre. Straight access from the Arlanda Express train.
Fabulous breakfast with great service. The only minus comes from scrambled eggs(powder made).
The service is truly warm but still professional.
Winter with frozen breeze made our fifteenth floor room cold and fixing heating didnt help. So though the great view we had to keep curtains closed. Maintenance didnt work at Christmas time, toilet seat was broken for three days.

Room Tip: Above tenyh floor, business rooms gives view to the water side.

I spent 3 nights here in December 2012. I was flying in from the UK and meeting boyfriend there; as he arrived 3 hours before me he went to the hotel and despite it being my name on the booking they were happy to store his bag for him so he could explore Stockholm (excellent start). When I arrived I was greeted with very helpful staff who checked us in efficiently but was still happy to chat. I had asked for a waterfront room in the special requests when I made the booking and we got exactly that; at the end of the corridor no less so it was super quiet. The room is decorated to a very high standard as is the bathroom (the floor in the bathroom was heated!); and it was very clean. All the staff were super-friendly and, as with most places in Stockholm, the staff speak perfect English. The location couldn't be better, right on the waterfront, around the corner from the train station, within a close walk of various restaurants and cafes and close to Gamla Stan (the old town) which is definitely worth an explore.

Room Tip: Ask for a waterfront room (the other side seems to look into office blocks); but ask in advance, you...

Stayed here for just one night during a business trip to Stockholm. The hotel is easily within walking distance from the Central train station (airport express train) as well as "Gamla Stan" and the main shopping areas.

It does give a slight impression of being a conference hotel, which I am sure it is too (given its location by the WTC), but once past check-in it is pure comfort.

Had lunch in the lobby restaurant. Great stuff, and difinitively worth the money, even if some might find it a bit on the steep side. Also tried the lobby bar late night. That was ok too, but a bit too inpersonal and "conferency".

Room: Went for business class room, and recommend that and a high floor. All business class rooms have a great city and river view. The other rooms don't. Minibar was well stocked, WiFi is free on Radisson Blu and there is a Nespresso machine in the Business Class room.

The Sheraton used to be my Stockholm favourite. But lately they have given me poorer rooms (even when nice ones are booked), quality of breakfast buffee has declined and prices have went throught the roof.

Over all I find the Radisson Blu Waterfront better, and will stay here again on my next visit.

Room Tip: Choose business class and ask for high floor.
