stayed two nights in a business class room with lovely view over the water and city hall. Great location right next to central station and makes the Arlanda Express to and from the airport so easy to use. Staff we very professional and welcoming, hotel was spotless and very very well presented. I have travel a fair bit in the last few years on both business and personal trips and this hotel is right up there with the very best that I have come across.

Our 5 nights in the Radisson Blu went really well. Check-in was welcoming, informative and quick. The room was nicely appointed, the air conditioning effective and quiet, the bed very comfortable, and the shower excellent. The room was the quietest we have experienced in a long time and even though it was next to the lift neither it nor the users could be heard. We only ever heard the slightest noise from any source. You would not know that the Stockholm main station was 11 floors below, so we enjoyed 5 very good nights sleep.

Breakfast was an incredible hot and cold buffet in a large room overlooking the City Hall and waterfront. The spread and choice was enormous - there was a real risk of over-eating which many diners didn't seem to retreat from!

Although it was a large corporate hotel the staff did a really great job in running everything efficiently and smoothly

The hotel is only a 10 minute walk through the adjacent main railway station to the Arlanda Shuttle, so we went from the hotel front desk to the airport check-in about 30 minutes. The Shuttle runs at up to 200 km/h for nearly 20 min! A really smooth ride!

Room Tip: Our 'basic' room was extremely quiet, well appointed & comfortable. An upgrade would hav...

Like any other Radisson Blu Hotel, we liked this property too. We had chosen water view superior room, which has very good view of the whole water front and we liked it . Location is central, convenient close to station , restaurants and market.

Breakfast is HUGE spread and choices are many . Dinner options are very minimal and tough for vegetarians .

Stayed here 2 nights prior to a Baltic cruise. Good clean rooms with adequate space and amenities, safe, coffee, minibar. Rooms were quiet and great views are available if you ask.
Food in restaurant was good but expensive, There is a 15% VAT on food and a 30% Tax on alcohol. Our wine was as much as our entree. Near Central station for easy airport access and metro to rest of city. Can walk to Old Town. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for waterfront view.

The best part of this stay was checking in and cheking out. I've not met a more professional, lovely staff in 30 years of business travel. If you are traveling on business, or using this for a short stay, this is a wonderful hotel. Many Americans are shocked that the showers only have "half a glass" in a tub room. That's because showers are showers, and tubs are tubs with hand showers -- its a difference between the US and most of Europe. If you choose a room with a shower, you will have a glass shower. If you choose a bath tub, you will have a tub, with 1/2 a glass door, and a hand shower that hangs from the position of a typical shower head. Most people understand that a shower head can be removed and used in the tub to say, wash your hair, or bathe and infant. The 1/2 glass is there so that you keep the rinsing near the front of the tub. If you spray the water from the hand shower, it will go all over the floor. This isn't a mistake in the hotel's bathroom design as other reviewers have pointed out; it's a mistake on the perception of the reviewer.

Breakfast was efficient and plenty to choose from. It is buffet style, so if you are looking for table service, you should go outside of the hotel.

It is next to a large conference center, and across the roand from the Ciity Hall. Please don't be foolish and try to cross the busy streets jaywalking -- walk a little further and you will see adequate and legal spaces to cross the street.

If taking the train from the airport, the location can't be beat. It is walking distance from the train station -- but if arriving in poor weather, or late at night, catch a cab there for about 50 SEK.

Upgrade to business class if you want the beautiful breakfast buffet pictured by travelers on this site. That alone is worth the upgrade (free breakfast), along with free wifi and a higher floor.

Room Tip: Upgrade your stay to business class for a higher floor, quieter room, bigger room, free wifi, and fr...

Stockholm being quite expensive, this hotel offers excellent quality for a very reasonable price, at least when we stayed mid August. Except for a weak wifi signal in our room at the end of the corridor, there is really nothing to complain about. Staff is exceptionally welcoming and friendly.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms at the end of the corridors, wifi signal is not that well
