Comfort Hotel Stockholm

The only "Comfort "of this place is the name, the location, the breakfast. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Taken these points away, this was the most uncomfortable experience ever: a room whose maximum width is the length of the bed - and it is their "double room"! if you wish to have a look out of the window or draw the curtains, you have to climb on the bed- there is no space. And I was lucky to get a window in my room. Other persons in my group did not have such "luxury"...No cupboards, no chair, no bed-side table: physically there is no space. Room cleaning far below any acceptable standards: wet towels unchanged, dust in the room, etc. Very poor supply of toiletries. Cherry on top: the price: 180 euro per day - unacceptable.
If you wish to stay in that area, go to the Scandic Central, on the other side of the street.Far better value for money!.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room with a window…

Room is about 5 square meters without windows. You feel like living in a closet. A 1.4m wide bed against the wall. No window. A desk of 1 m wide and 50cm deep. A bathroom where 1 person barely fits. You immediately feel claustrophobic and feel like wanting to go home. The price is more expensive than raddisson blue.

Connected to World Trade Trade Centre. 5mins walk from central station. We were given a room that was occupied. There was some confusions for 30mins, and we had to go down personally to the lobby for new room keys. There's no free upgrade or anything! Lousy! Our budget room had no windows or kettle. Free hot tea or coffee is available at the lobby. Breakfast spread is quite good. Free WIFI, but snail speed. The lady receptionist refused to help us reserve a table at Grand Hotel!? Please buck up your service! There's no point in revamping the hotel every year if the customer service sucks!!

Best prize in central Stockholm, according to the selection of hotels one should choose from, as civil servants at the moment. Very good location, for travellers by train, underground, or arriving by bus or Arlanda Express from Arlanda Airport. Small, but nice room, in very good shape, and with excellent possibility to work at dark thanks to spotlight for reading. High standard of brekfast, with ecological profile. The bed was also very good. My only remark is a few times of disturbing low frequency noise, in the middle of the second night of my stay. I asked the staff if it has to do with the ongoing work with the new tunnel for train and underground, the so-called Citybanan. They said the noise came from the underground. However, I am not convinced about that, because the noise appeared between around 1 to 3 a.m. Note that the entrance door of the hotel can be a little tricky to find, the first time.

Tiny tiny little rooms! But if you are only going to be in your room to sleep, its fine. Best part for me was the location. I went jogging every morning on a jogging path along the river, which was just across the bridge from the hotel. It was a fantastic way to start the day. Don't waste your money going to the hotel down the street (the Clarion Hotel) where they have an arrangement with the gym. You have to pay $10 to use the gym which is literally in a hallway, and watch all kinds of people in bathrobes geting spa treatments and wandering around. The breakfast was really good. You have to get a new wireless code every day.

I arrived after midnight to Stockholm from the Arlanda Express train.. really tired with heavy luggage, such an amazing thing that I just needed to take an elevator and it was right in the corner. IT has FREE COFFEE the WHOLE DAY! :D

Stayed during Stockholm Pride and most say that this hotel meet and exceeded my expectations. Location slam bang in the middle if Stockholm, great breakfast buffet and friendly staff.

The wifi password ordeal could be made better, one ticket for 24h and per device... So if you stay longer ask for more tickets... They should change the whole procedure!

The check in/out kiosks didn't work when we tried - but if they do that would be great too....

Definitely recommend this hotel
