“So fortunate to have visited this wonderful museum!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

This is an unbelievable collection of treasures acquired by a wealthy woman, which was then gifted to the State. Every room you walk into has a "wow" factor at the amazing collection of things. I have visited twice, and would not hesitate to visit for a third or fourth time. A must see for Stockholm visitors.

“Absolutely loved it”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 via mobile

One of the best palaces to visit in Stockholm if you like palaces and grand houses. This place is amazing, straight out of the 19th century! Very quiet and peacefull. Add this to your Stockholm experience!
Only one English tour at 12:30 .... That was the only downside.

“The Halwyl Palace - the most beautiful place in Stockholm,”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

To enter the door into the Halwyl Palace is to enter the door into history. Wilhelmina von Halwyl was not only interested in art and travel. She was also interested in physical training and technical developments. Each morning she did physical exercise during one hour together with her servant, Each and every single item in the Halwyl Palace was documented and is a magnificent statement of the historical development at that time. To go to Stockholm and not visit the Halwyl Palace is no visit to Stockholm
