“Ok I guess”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Of all the things we saw in Stockholm this was the one that in retrospect I would have given a miss. It just didn't excite any of us really.

“Not very exciting”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 via mobile

The royal palace is no longer the home of the royal family and I can't say I blame them for moving out! The exterior looks like a government building and the interior is grey and cold. If you are interested in medals and decorations, there are good displays, but it has limited other exhibits and the architecture, except for the great hall perhaps, is not special. The treasury with the crown jewels was the best bit. I would save your money and just watch the changing of the guard.

“Amazing place”
Reviewed 5 July 2014 via mobile

We visited the palace today, an amazing place. The grand apartments are right up there with Windsor and Versailles. No pictures is a big werd in 2014 and hard to police. The tre kroner museum and the antiquities museum are nice if you have the time, but not very special.
Stay away from the foodkiosk in the courtyard, most expensieve food we had in Stockholm. 2 sandwiches and two drinks was 35 euro. Rediculous.

“while you are in the old town”

you might as well make a stop here. it's not versailles or schonbrun, but worth the few steps out of the way.

“Lots of things to see with one ticket - impressive”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

This is quite good value when you take into account you get a combined ticket for the apartments, museum and treasury. The treasury is seriously impressive with beautiful crowns and jewellery and the apartments are stunning.
