Owner description: The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue. Today Vasa is the world's only preserved 17th century ship and the most visited museum in Scandinavia.

Number One Stockholm attraction for a very good reason. This 17th century ship, raised from the Stockholm harbor after 333 years, is an aamazing sight. And the museum is vast and expansive, and extremely well-presented. I spent two hours inside and could have done more. Don't miss it!

The Historic Vasa is exhibited well. Lighting adds a wonderful view of the ship. The entry inside ship is restricted now, considering the safety of the visitors. Ship is getting deteriorating nowadays... The articles used by the soldiers were also preserved. I personally like the "face the world" campaign, where we can submit our selfies which gets pinned in the world map and is published in their website via Flickr... A must visit, free with Stockholm card...

This museum gives a very intersting display of a ship that was recovered in 1961 after 333 years under water. The tour around the different levels gives a great insight into the effort of recontructing everything and making something of the huge underwater puzzle. Information is given to the smalles detail. The display is very well done.

To go to Vasa Museum is a must if you are in Stockholm. The story behind the Wasa is really something that we all can maybe laugh at now 500 years after the tragedy.
This museum you can go too if you are young or old its suites everyone. Really recommend it

Beautifully restored 17th century navy vessel. You get really close to the ship and there are 3 levels from where you get a great view. But get there early. The place is totally crowded by noon. We were there on a Saturday morning.
