we stumbled upon this very quaint square near the royal palace and the nobel museum. a fantastic spot to enjoy a beverage and soak it all in.
there are several restaurants around this square, most with outdoor seating. however, all were packed and finding a table was not easy. we tried to eat at another spot nearby, but the day was hot and sunny and their outdoor tables were in the full sun. so we found space at this restaurant, and sat for lunch. we had 4 adults at one table, and 3 kids at another table. service for each table was fine and friendly - we got our orders in and refills when needed.
the food was fine, although they did not have meatballs (which we were hoping for). I didn't realize until finding the restaurant here on TA that it is albanian ? we saw no indications while at the restaurant. we had sandwiches, which were large and artsy in presentation. bread was good but perhaps oversized - making sandwiches slightly hard to eat and leaving less room for the filings.
overall a good restaurant in a great spot. the beer was good and cool. prices were a bit on the expensive side, but we understand that to be the case throughout Stockholm. lunch for our entire group was $223, not counting any tip.
