Just back from the weekend in Stockholm. Four girls traveling, we stayed in the apartments which are a 2 minute walk after checking in at the Hotel. We were in the top floor apartment, which has 2 stories, 1 1/2 bath. Two large sitting areas and a kitchen.
Location in Gamla Stan was perfect. We had a 3 day transit pass and could get anywhere easily. 5 minute walk to the Royal Palace, Nobel Museum and Storkyrkan. I would definitely stay here again!

I am re-posting this after the hotel requested Tripadvisor to remove this review. Tripadvisor agreed with me that the review does follow all guidelines and asked me to re-post it.
---
My wife and I are travelling with our 8 week old baby. Our baby had soiled his diaper and as we were right in front of this hotel we decided to ask at the reception if they had a bathroom we could use to change our baby's diaper. In the past, we have had to ask for different kinds of help from hotels that we were just walking by (asking for directions, calling a cab, and yes, asking for a bathroom), and always received a warm "of course". I imagine that because even if we were not customers of those hotels at the time they decided to show some basic empathy and also think of how this reflected on their hotels.

This time, however, it was very different. We were greeted by a very cold and awkward "Oh, I am not authorized to let you use the bathroom" followed by a long silence. Not even a suggestion of where we might find one or any simple sign of being caring or serviceful. Not only that, but this same receptionist also rolled her eyes and stared at us blankly as if we were ruining the aesthetics of her precious reception while we struggled to put our baby in a carrier with extra blankets as it was around 5 degrees outside. There was another receptionist there as well, who simply decided to keep looking in a different direction, as if we were unwanted beggars asking for money.

We do find the lack of empathy shown from the receptionists at this hotel not only troubling but completely shameful. I am completely surprised, in a negative way, on the untasteful reaction shown by both receptionists at this hotel. Funny enough, minutes before this we had talked about wanting to stay at your hotel on a future visit to Stockholm given its location. Needless to say, this will not happen.

We had stayed in Gamla Stan before and enjoyed it very much. This time we stayed at The Lady Hamilton. You could see the wall of the Royal Palace from our room. Also we were up one street from the main pedestrian shopping walkway so you got right into the feel of the city when you stepped out the door. Wonderful huge free breakfast every morning downstairs. hotel staff very friendly , helpful and knowledgeable.

Room Tip: The bathroom floors are heated ! No room noise from other rooms. Very comfortable bed.

We stayed here for two nights. Had a room on the top floor, clean, very comfy beds, good size TV, and quirky decor. Minibar, always a plus. The ceiling windows are electrical and very slow, but it gets very warm and we were grateful for the fresh air, there’s also an AC. The shower is very good, (but stay away from the odd shampoos, smells strange and made my hair very dry), floor has heating and I really liked the massive fluffy towels. Tea and coffe making facilities in corridor. Nice touch! Breakfast is truly excellent. Both hot and cold options, buffe style, and everything is very high quality. Even the ham must have come from a butcher and not just a supermarket. I can be a bit iffy about scramble in hotels, but this was great! Location obviously great, we walked mayb 15 mins to the main train-and metro station. Highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. It is in a great location in Gamla Stan, close to the royal palace and church bells. Rooms were small but perfectly formed, loads of hot water for the shower and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was lovely. There's a tea and coffee station on each floor so you can sit out there as an extra space. The breakfast choice was great and included gluten free options. It was a great base for us to go out and explore every day.

Room Tip: If you would like a quieter room away from the church bells don't get rooms at the back
