I had good sleep and very good breakfast in lovely restaurant. Wifi worked very well. Of course, hotel is a little bit outdated, but served me in my needs. Great location also for family trips to Stockholm!

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and two-years-old son in August. The location is great if you are planning to visit Gröna Lund, Skansen, Junibacken, Vasa Museum etc. that are all located near the hotel. Also the public transport connections (bus, tram and a little ferry) to the city centre and "Old Town" are good.

The rooms are modern and clean, comfortable beds. The hotel has a beautiful garden, where you can eat breakfast (or lunch or dinner) if the weather is nice. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and everything very fresh.

I see this hotel namely as a family or couple's hotel, for business I would probably choose another hotel in the city centre.

Nice hotel to stay with children.
Located on the island of Djurgården. Skansen park entrance right next to the hotel. Amusement park Grona Lund, Vasa Museum, the Museum of Astrid Lindgren Junibacken, aquarium, ferry Slyussen, biological, and Nordic Museum - all within walking distance of the hotel. The island is green, pleasant walk with the kids
Next to the hotel there is a small garden.
There is a large playground in the park Skansen.
The hotel has a very nice restaurant with a view of Stockholm. Breakfast is good. Very large selection of dishes. There were even pancakes with jam.
The decor in the restaurant is very romantic, there is even a candle
The hotel has a very positive attitude towards children. During the check ins to my son gave some nice small gifts. Gave us an early check in for the 10 am and late check out up to two hour p.m.
The room was small but nice, with classic furnishings and a beautiful view of Stockholm.
In the bathroom, hair dryer and shampoo only.
The room has a TV, safe and minibar.
The railway station is easily accessible by bus. Tickets must be purchased in the machine. From the station to the airport is conveniently accessible by Arlanda Express.

Hotel is in a good location, close to many attractions, if a little away from the center of town.

Family friendly and very popular too, if your expecting a quiet business dinner go elsewhere.

Service was warm and welcoming from all departments, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Good wifi signal throughout the hotel, I enjoyed the bar on the sun terrace in the evening.

Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet style, plenty of choice in both areas and food replenished often. I'd prefer somewhere a bit more central next time, but certainly won't be disappointed if I have to come back to the Hasselbacken, recommended.

Hotel Hasselbacken is perfect for families with young children. It is located near the amusment parks on Djurgården and near museums, they are just a few footsteps away. The hotel restaurant is cosy, and has a buffet for children, and there are plenty of other restaurants in the area. Comfortable rooms, a small gym and a sauna. The tram takes you to down town every 5-10 minutes, the ride is short, or you can walk (20-30 minutes), or take the boat. There is a garden and several parks in the area.

From the moment we arrived and met the perfect staff at reception, we had a good feeling. It kept getting better. The room 202 was quite dark with only windows at the end of the room. Otherwise well kept and nice bathroom. A warning for disabled guests: You have to use stairs to access some of the floors. If that´s an issue for you, ask for a room on a floor accessible from the elevators.

Had dinner both nights at the hotelrestarant. Very good deal with prices not too bad. The starters were very small and maybe not worth the price. The maincourses however were VERY large and likewise tasty. Great buffe for all the kids. For families they even had staff helping the kids in the playroom just outside the restaurant. The breakfast was one of the best we´ve ever had. The bacon was cooked to absolut perfection. Everything was replenished up until closingtime. Five minutes before closing breakfast the staff walked up to each and every table to inform the upcoming closing to enable everyone to take something more to eat or drink and than continue breakfast in peace.

Perfect location if you want to visit Gröna Lund, Skansen, Vasamuseum etc. But it´s not exactly in the center which means you have take the cramped bus nr 47 or the tram to reach any shopping. One tip is to take bus nr 44 and get off at Humlegården. A short walk and you´re in middle of the bustling city (almost nobody takes that bus).
