Very good location close to old town. The rooms are clean and a unique cabin experience. Also the breakfast was good and the view to the old town is magnificent. I strongly suggest for people who like something different. The boat top deck is a great place to chill out and relax.

I have stayed 3 different the most rated hostels in Stockholm and this hostel is the best. It is really nice experience to stay in a ship. Breakfast was good. If you wanna drink hot from machine it is really cheap and nice, even 4 times cheaper than from my first hostel. Very useful and clean bathrooms and toilets that ı haven't seen in other hostels. Next time I will stay only in this hostel in Stockholm.

I stayed on the AF Chapman for 2 nights Nov 2013. The hotel/hostel is immediately recognisable from some didistance by its masts, and very close to the centre. I found check in and out very straightforward and the boat felt very secure for a lone female traveller. I was concerned about sharing a bathroom but I needn't have been as there was a bathroom for the 2 rooms on my corridor. The cabin bed was a slight concern as I'm not that light or agile, but once I worked out that I could use the desk chair as a step up/down it was fine.

Let me start by saying that I stayed at the Af Chapman quite a few years ago, before smart phones and laptops were common while traveling... i was with a friend, and this was the first place we stayed on our Stockholm adventure. What a unique find! The land lobby area was great, with breakfast and computers for use. we stayed on the boat and we had a room with multiple bunk beds... i think there were 6 or 8 of us in one room. We stayed 2 nights.. and we met some great people! Really cool place, and made the start of my Stockholm trip very memorable.

Beautiful, well located and properly clean.
It's better to stay on "land", since the boat might shake a bit, and you can feel a lot on the tips of the boat.
Great breakfast for a hostel, best I had in a long time.
Good infra-structure and staff.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the tips of the boat!

What a great little ship. The quarters are like dorms, clean and open. You're right on the harbor. The linens are a little scratchy and it can get loud when people come back at night (there isn't a lot of insulation between the walls of the boat it seems), but all in all a very cool experience. Make sure not to ring the ship's bell after 9pm!

This hostel is agreable and the staff is very polite. The breakfast is superb and they have a lot of variable types of food to offer.Nearby you can rent a bike. You can choose stay in the beautiful boat aside or inland, in the biulding.I recomend stay there because I'm sure you'll like it.You'll stay near downtown, in a quiet place, with a beautiful view of it.

Room Tip: Choose in the second floor , because is more silent and generally have a beautiful view
