We stayed four nights at this hotel. These are pluses and minuses we identified:
Minuses:
1. The room was very small: there was no place to put big suitcases so that they don’t lie on your way.
2. All the rooms with windows looking out onto the building’s inner court are exposed to a constant noise from huge fans.
3. The opposite side of the building was under construction, so that the plastic tape covering the walls was pretty loudly rustling from every wind gust (by the way, there was no prior information about ongoing construction).
4. The air conditioning equipment was not working even as a fan, the bulb in one of the over-the-bed lamps was not shining. We asked an employee to fix that, but nothing was done.
5. In the bathroom, the toilet is separated from the tub by a rotating glass partition which doesn’t actually screens from water, so that a puddle forms on the floor, and you can easily slip and fall as the tiles (and the tub too) are very slippery. I for one slipped, but held by grabbing that partition and scratched slightly my hand.
Pluses:
1. The hotel is located in the city center.
2. 50 meters from the hotel is the entrance to the Arlanda Express train (20 minutes from/to the airport).
3. Free cable Internet (you better take along your own cable).
4. Very good and diverse breakfast.

I stayed at the Nordic Sea for a week. My standard single room, while small, was very clean and had all the amenities an American hotel would have. One perk is that they have free broadband internet if you connect through the cable supplied in your room. You can also pay for wi-fi service. The free computers in the lobby are usually in use and not very convenient. Breakfast is basic Swedish fare, but there is plenty of it and it is well prepared. Expect it to be crowded between 8:30-10:00. I love the location of this hotel! It is right next to the Central Station and within walking distance of anything you might need. While I was there, a brand new Wayne's Coffee opened right around the corner. It's a perfect place for fika!

In the lobby of the Nordic Sea Hotel is the Absolut Ice Bar. This is unbelievable. When staying at the hotel, you get a discount on your entry ticket to the Absolut Ice Bar. Your entry ticket includes one drink. The ice bar is amazing and total fun!

Location of the hotel is fantastic - right next to the central train station in Stockholm. There are super comfy beds in this hotel. The bathroom had a great shower, and the bathroom has a heated towel rack.

Wireless internet is available for a fee, but regular broadband internet is in the rooms at no charge. I had an ethernet cable with me, so I used that.

Breakfast is a huge buffet but it is very heavy on the sliced meats and cheeses. There are other choices too - eggs, muesli, yogurts, fruit, nice breads, etc.

There must be a huge number of people staying in the hotel because breakfast was sort of chaotic. They have a lot of square tables for four that would really make a more efficient use of the space if they were tables for two or round tables that you could pull a chair up to.

The A/C in our room did not really work that well, and only one of the many windows in our room actually opened. There were, however, many other windows in our room that were all locked. This was not a huge problem, but I think that in any hotel, either the windows all need to be able to be opened, or the A/C needs to work, to get fresh air and good air circulation. It was not that hot when I stayed there, so this wasn't that much of a problem.

The hotel seems to run deals that add to its good value. When I stayed there, I got three nights at the hotel for the price of two.

All in all, a good hotel in a great location! Reception staff is friendly and helpful. It is a nice walk from the hotel to see the changing of the guards at the Royal Palace and to Gamla Stan for dinner, ice cream, and strolling in the old city of Stockholm.

The hotel is perfectly situated for those who comes by Arlanda Express train. And its just 5-10 minutes walking from the center, so, the location is good.
The staff was very friendly and always available to fix minor problems.
The lobby is very beatiful but the breakfast room is too small and can be very crowdy sometimes. (But even then, the staff is always there to help solving the problem)
Our room was on the top floor, fairly big, clean, and very nice.
Overall, this is a good hotel and a good value for the money in a city that is not that very cheap.

Coming out of the railway station, it took me a while to find the Nordic sea Hotel which was tucked away around the corner, with scaffolding obscuring it from view. Having said that, the location could not be bettered. I walked everywhere in Stockholm, and the Arlanda Express back to the airport was just outside the door. Room was very very small, but trendy and well equipped. Never did figure out how to control the air conditioning. Breakfast one morning was so busy that people were forced to take their food out to the lobby.

The "relaxation room" in the neighbouring Nordic Light Hotel, once I got there, wasn't worth the effort. Disappointing.

Nordic Sea Hotel was excellent and provided everything that I required during my 3 night stay in Stockholm. At first I thought it was rather pricey however if you're able to get a good deal or get their early bird rate on their official website like I did, it's fantastic value for Stockholm.

• I got to the hotel at 8am however I was able to check in to my room immediately which was a nice suprise! (esp. after being on a 20hr flight). I was in a Queen room facing the internal courtyard which was very quiet. I did not hear any outside noise whatsoever, only some noise from the neighboring rooms in the morning.

• The hotel's location can't be beaten for convenience. Directly next to the Arlanda Express train station (literally just a few steps from the platform exit), 2mins walk to T-Centralen Metro station, 10mins walk to Gamla Stan, 5-10mins to Sergels Torg & Drottninggatan (main pedestrianised shopping street).

• Nice modern rooms, nicely furnished, very clean. Some might say they're on the small side but you will find this all throughout Scandinavia so comparatively the size is fine & adequate. Very comfy bed.

• Absolut Ice Bar is a must if you've never been to an Ice bar before, it's quite an experience. The drinks are amazing and it's not really THAT cold in there. Show your room card to get a discount.

• Internet connection via wall connection was fast and reliable. Cable is provided in room.

• Safe and fridge was provided in the room which was great.

• Breakfast was included in my room rate which again was great value. Breakfast was nice and large, although it does get pretty crowded down there.

All in all, I was very satisfied with Nordic Sea Hotel! Throughout my travels in Sweden, Norway & Denmark, this was my fav hotel. If I ever return to Stockholm I would definitely stay there again, or if not, I'd check out their neighboring/partner hotel Nordic Light.
