Wonderful, awesome and magnificent.. if you are an art and culture connoisseur; this is the place for you.Right from the history of Sami people (indigenous population of Sweden) to modern furniture, paining, to living room designs and many more.. it is worth visiting. You can get headphone and listen to the commentary wherever you want in your proffered language. To explore this museum in detail, you may take 2-3 hours minimum. Locker-room facilities are available and the staff is friendly and cooperative.

located right beside the Vasa Museum and just a few minutes from Skansen and Tivoli - it's worth it to pop in to see the inside of that gorgeous building and visit the gift shop - there was an interesting exhibit down the long hall from the entrance to the shop that was enjoyed - prices are high but the goods are authentic and high quality if you are looking for souvenirs

I enjoyed this museum, it's a really nice building on the outside and it's nice to walk around on the inside. It does have an odd assortment of items, but I still had a nice time wandering what to expect around the corner!

It's free on the evenings on a Wednesday (I think!) but not during the summer.

Check the opening hours before you go! It is an interesting museum about swedish design. The most impressive were the table clothings of the 17th century (the swan was definately a highlight) and the exhibition related to Samis. Furthermore there were furniture (ikea furniture were included too!), folk art objects and dollhouses. Take the audioguide too, it provides interesting information
