We visited on a Sunday afternoon and had a good few hours here. There was an informal lecture at 5pm which was very interesting and then we latched onto a tour guide. Again, there is some fascinating facts and insights that you wouldn't necessarily know about beforehand. Worth a visit!

Visiting the Nobel museum was our primary reason for traveling to Sweden. The experience was all that we had hoped it to be. The tour was fantastic and needs to be taken to appreciate the full experience. Learning about Nobel and his wish to reward excellence was fascinating. 100SKR or $16CAD for adults and children are free. I don't think is too much for this experience. Short movies about some of the laureates and their achievements were available to view (we watched Linus Paulling). Something I did not know about was in the Nobel Cafe you can enjoy the same ice cream dessert that laureates have during their Noble banquet, there is a chocolate noble prize included with the ice-cream. Finally on the bottom of the chairs in the cafe, Laureates have signed their name, the chairs are numbered and you can find your favourite Laureate. Being a molecular biologist it was really exciting looking for James Watson and Arthur Kornburg. When I checked the bottom of the chair I was sitting on, I found Barack Obama 2009 peace prize winner.

We didn't spend entrance fee to visit the museum. However, you can opt to ask for a sticker and visit the museum shop for free. The shop is on the left after you go through the entrance. The shop is interesting and you may shop for Nobel prize related souvenir.

The museum itself was included in the Stockholm card, so we went for a visit. It was good to meet people who have actually changed the course of history, inventions and creations that were worth reading about. It is nice but not a must do. The museum is small so you can really go through it quite fast.

Most of the information you can find on the Internet. There is nothing special or worth the ticket price.
