Stockholm Inn Hotell

Stockholm can be very expensive and this hotel offered great value so thought I would give it a go. After finally realising that you enter the hotel through "Wayne's Coffee" shop (reception is actually the girls who make the coffee!) they send you downstairs into the basement, which is where the rooms are. The rooms do not have windows (as they are underground) and the rooms are tiny with bunk beds. It's like a hostel except you get a room to yourself. Room has a private bathroom. Again the rooms are very small. You use a key code to access the room. Location is good right on one of the main shopping streets.

I wouldn't stay here again unless I needed somewhere cheap in Stockholm (if other options were booked up) but can't really complain as you do get what you pay for given the low price of the hotel.

Be aware! This is a really, really bad "hotel"! I am still recovering from this hotel experience. This is a bunker under a coffe shop - you can hardly find it from street level. In the hidden basement there are a few rooms behind heavy, dark doors. My room felt like a tiny prison cell, dark green walls, dirty bath room, and very poor standard. I was on a business trip and had booked the room online for 995 SEK. That is pure robbery!! It is the worst hotel deal ever!! And on top of that: I was unable to change room - and when I decieded that I was unable to spend the night in this nightmare hotel - I DID NOT GET MY MONEY BACK! STAY AWAY!! You will not find a worse hotel in town.

Very Good Location - Located on one the best street of Stockholm. Notice there is no view from the rooms because they are located on minus 1 but the room are very correct and clean. Thanks again to the staff - you were amazing.

Rooms are really very small and dark and all of them are in basement with narrow corridors. Beds in rooms are narrow with slanting mattress. There was broken shower hose and dust on floor in my room. Hotel does not have regular reception, just small coffee bar. It is located in city centre on pedestrian precinct.

Location is spot on! :)
The rooms are small and below ground level, so there should have been more lighting. The room is only suitable for resting and sleeping, anything else feels claustrofobic. The rest of the day should be spent outdoors. In other words this is okay for a weekend, but not for a longer stay.
The bathroom could have been slightly cleaner, but it was okay. Also this room was a bit dark. A girl needs good light when getting ready in the morning!
Breakfast was included, but it wasnt memorable. In the coffeshop/reception coffe/tea, juice and a pre-made bun with butter, cheese and/or ham was served. However, there was were only two tables upstairs and two down in the basement.
A pluss for tasty cakes at the coffeshop :)

No windows what so ever, all are underground bedrooms (as advertised by the hotel so they did not lie about it).

Rooms are tiny. I stayed in a room that was literary 2x5 meters. Only works if you dont spend any time at all in the room, just in to sleep and rest of the day out. I avoided going back to the hotel until late at night or early AM when ready to sleep.
Rooms are too dark. The lighting in the room is not enough especially when you dont have windows. It was too dark to see what you cloth you put on, in the drawer, or what is on the shelf. The bathroom lights are okay but not bright either.
Cleanliness: I cannot comment about the cleanliness of the hotel since the room was too dark to see whether the bedsheets are clean or not. So far, I did not get any rash so I assume it was clean.
Noise: you can easily hear your neighbor and the door slams.

The only good thing I would say is location. Close to the Metro. 15mins walk to old town. 10mins walk to the central train station. In the middle of the shopping area. At night, it is a walking distance to Struplan which is the are with nightclubs/bars that open late.

I wouldnot stay there again. I would pay less and find a private room in a hostel with windows or play more and get a real hotel room.

Not for the claustrophobic. All rooms are small, below ground level. That said, the hotel is new, fresh, clean and have fairly comfortable beds. The reception is handled by a cafè at ground level. Breakfast is a mug of orange juice, coffee and a sandwich.
Works well for a night, but staying longer one usually wants a bit more space and comfort. Hotels at this price level are usually either shabby or small, I prefer small.
I stayed here as I wanted to be close to Centralbadet that have an Art Deco pool area well worth a visit.
