This is a museum that is essentially unchanged since it was opened about 1900. It consists of a large circular diorama filled with stuffed birds and animals in their natural habitat on the ground or in trees viewed against a background that took a noted artist a year to paint. You can see most of it in a half an hour. It was a time machine taking us back to an earlier time of natural history.
