“Nice Indian-Pakistani food”
Reviewed 2 December 2013

nice place for Indian-Pakistani menu, add the customization as you wish, the chef is more than willing to add the spark just as you need it.. the portions were ok if you are not starving, could have been better.
quite compact seating on the upper floor, but didn't get to visit the lower area. gets crowded in weekends in the evening.
over all nice exp !

“Tiny, place good service”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

I stumbled on this place when looking for another place where to eat in old town Stockholm. Place was tiny and because of that seemed crowded even if all tables weren't full. Cliente had some locals but also us tourists. We had palak paneeir and it was spcy enough, not too hot though. Enjoyed our meal and would visit there again!

“Great meal. Pleasantly surprised...”
Reviewed 28 October 2013 via mobile

Had been told not to eat in Gamla Stan due to tourist trap restaurants but footsore and in the rain we stumbled across this place and tried it out.
Small restaurant, was very quiet the whole evening (Sunday, late Oct at 7pm), good efficient service.
Both starters and main course curries were excellent. We ordered poppadums (comparing with England here where we expect them free or very cheap and complete with a variety of chutneys etc).... This isn't the case here. 3.50 for a single poppadum (served two) with a small bowl of very nice mango and ginger chutney. Small selection of starters, opted for chicken pakora and fish pakora, both wolfed down and judged very nice! Mains were Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Saag, both came with rice and we ordered an additional garlic naan. All plates cleared, nothing left, and voted very very tasty indeed. I could have eaten it twice!
Two nice beers each / 70 damage. Very expensive but this is Stockholm so be prepared to dig deep. All in all a good dining experience and happy with the food.

“A decent curry and good value compared to other cuisine in Gamla Stan”
Reviewed 19 July 2013 via mobile

I had the Chicken Karahi (which came with rice) and a Peshwari Naan and a small beer. It was about £22 with the tip. It was very good Naan - light and tasty. The chicken was good with a nice sauce. I've eaten curries all over the world and whilst you can't beat a Brick Lane one, this was more than acceptable.

“Nice food, decent ambience but slightly pricey”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

This is a place i go on and off. I love their Palak Ghost, simply awsome.
I love their Chicken Korma too but a bit too sweet for indian taste buds. I dont think the food is really Indian but almost the closest i could get.
Their holiday/dinner price is a bit on the higher side but their lunch price is really nice and worth.
And for my muslim friends out there, I know they serve halal meat though i am not one. :)
I will go there still but mainly for lunches.
