“Very interesting minevisit”

The visit to the coppermine was very interested. We had an experienced guide with our group who could tell nice stories. You can borrow raincoats, helmets, rubber boots.

We always take any visitors to the mine and so far everyone, adults and kids alike, have really enjoyed it. Its a cool place and the guides are brilliant in telling stories from the mine.

“Great piece of history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 October 2013

We were a group visiting the mine and had booked us a tour inside the copper mine museum plus an short outdoor visit to the top of the landslide. Extremely well read and professional guides. The mine landslide guide was dressed as a miner from centuries back and the mine museum young lady extremely professional. It's well worth a visit and dont forget the attic of the museum where you can see hospital tools from ages back plus in Swedish written material about the Physics and medicinery from centuries back. Very interesting if you know Swedish =)

“Interesting journey back in the industrial history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 September 2013

A guided tour of the Falu Koppargruva is realy worthwhile, in order to understand the history, the wealth of Sweden of that time, and the hard work the miners had. You visit the mine in about one hour and it is really worthwhile !

“Well worth the visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 September 2013

There is a very well designed tour and museum here that is interesting and very informative. We learned a lot of history and had no idea about copper and its significance TO Sweden until the visit. We did not go in the mine as there is no elevator and out knees were not up to the stairs.
There is an interactive display for children at the site.
Very glad that we went.
