“good sushi”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

Nice restaurant with good service and good sushi. If you like japaneese food this is the place in Varberg where you can get it. Not ver expensive and quite goodto be outside Japan. They have a take away section which is worth to try too.

“Reasonable sushi stop”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

We stopped in for some Japanese here. Not world-class, but in the context of a fairly sleepy Swedish holiday town, it was great - friendly service, food was good, especially an excellent miso soup. Sides are deceptively filling: we ordered two to share, but couldn't finish both. Cooked fish dish was a bit dry though. Odd to see kimchi on a Japanese menu too!

“Just perfect!!”
Reviewed 24 August 2013

I discovered this restaurant with some friends past week.
This japanese restaurant is excellent: all the dishes are very teasty starting with the starters: beans, salades, sushis, meat and finally a grilled fish for each of us.
Just one word: wunderfull.

“Japanese at its best!”
Reviewed 16 June 2013

What a surprise to find such a superb Japanese reataurant in this nice West coast town. The food is authentic and very good indeed. The Sushi range is good but what makes the place distinctive are the other dishes, each of which is beautifully prepared and delicious. We had Gyoza (dumplings), Nikkori, Hamachi (a Japanese oily fish on a skewer), Salmon Teriyaki and the splendid Yakiniku (thin-sliced beef wtih a very tasty sauce). Unusually, the deserts are as good as the mains: try the sorbet (Yuzu) and the sesame ice-cream. The selection of alcoholic drinks is authentic and very wide; try the plum wine. Very strongly recommended and we can't wait to go back when next in the Varberg area. Note: although the door notice says it is open from 11.30 a.m. until late, in fact dinner is not served until 5 p.m.
