Lovely lunch outside on the busy, buzzy terrace. One of us ate the three-course lunch which started with a stunning, delicious mussel soup, the other had a veggie plate of grilled halloumi, which was served with roasted vegetables and a sweet, rich tomato sauce - a bit like a coulis.
Swedish meatballs with mashed potato and a mini pot of lingonberry sauce for our 6 year old - sensibly sized, beautifully presented and cleared away with much gusto!
The three-courser's pudding was a divine creme brûlée, accompanied with a strawberry sorbet.
A beautiful lunch, with exemplary service and a fab wine list, too - splashed out on two glasses (yes, two!) of Gruner Veltliner, which was perfectly chilled.
Would absolutely recommend!
