We got a nice and big apartment, quiet with great beds, a handy kitchen and your very own sauna! Pleasant and helpful staff, who helped us out with our little puppy (only eight weeks old.) Very smart to have takeaway opportunity in the restaurant. Both the kids and grownups enjoyed the stay.

Having only a few days in Gothenburg, this hotel is perfect for you and your family. The large rooms with small kitchen is just perfect. Short distance to Liseberg and main centrum, either walking or jump on a tram. It is also Willys Supermarket in the same building, so you easily can get what ever you need. A tiny minus for the little play room, not much to do there.....

We stayed here for one night in July 2014. The hotel is fairly new and modern and the room we got (a family room) was large, and equipped with a small kitchen, a flatscreen tv and free wifi. The room was sparsely decorated and frankly looked a bit like a hospital suite, but we did not really mind. Breakfast was included and the variety in the buffet was huge! Full satisfaction here! Only MAJOR minus was the ridiculously expensive parking fees! That in fact increased the total overnight price with apprx. 15% which is unacceptable. The staff in the reception was nice, but unwilling to engage on this matter...

This hotel is great as the rooms are like studio flats.
Large double bedroom room complete with sitting & dinning area complete with kitchenette. Separate double shower room with a lovely powerful shower.

Breakfast was all you can eat buffet, loads of choice. Restaurant also had a wide choice of food.

Gym and supermarket on site.

Rather surprising for a Best Western this hotel is co-located in an office building with a lot of commercial enterprise. Although we had some trepidations when we first saw this hotel it worked out quite well. The Best Western has separate keyed entrances from the other businesses and they even have laundry facilities on a couple of the floors at no charge. They only have paid parking and it;s fairly expensive but the free laundry more than compensated for the parking for us. If you have to pay to have your laundry done in Sweden be prepared to pay the proverbial "arm and a leg".

However, overall, this is quite a satisfactory Best Western. The breakfast was a combo English breakfast coupled with the typical Swedish breakfast smorgasbord. It was very tasty, plentiful, and well presented.

This is located very near to a light rail station which gives you access to Gothenburg's great metro system. This metro system will take you anyplace in Gothenburg for very reasonable prices. We had a rental car in Gothenburg but preferentially used the metro to get to the museums and other sites.

Room Tip: Get a room on the 6th floor for ready access to the laundry room.

Large room with no clock and no coffee/tea however have microwave, fridge. The location is iffy at best, as they share a parking lot with a second hand store and supermarket. In fact once we found the hotel, we would not even go in, as the neighborhood did not look very safe. We were unable to find another hotel in town so we ventured back to this property figuring it was 1 night only. Once inside the hotel was decent, 3 star in US standards. However had quite a few gluten free options at breakfast which was a plus. This hotel is not center city and will have to drive about 2 miles, or take train to get to town

Room Tip: Do not expect to walk downtown from this property.

We stayed here two nights, two adults and two kids. We are used to different types of standards as we travel at least two-three times a year around the world and always try to find best value for money. That is, not luxurious but still clean and fresh. Now to the problems (at 1400 sek/night these issues do not exist at other hotels):

1) Breakfast: Tables left dirty, food was not fresh, fruit was from tins, orange juice was not fresh, unhygienic self service

2) Room: room was not cleaned during stay, floors were left dirty, beds were not made, missing toilet paper, bathroom was not cleaned, shower left dirty, sink dirty, toilet as well.

The explanation we got was that this was custom for them!?

Please avoid this hotel or at least ask at reception to get a money back guarantee in case they fail on these two issues!

Both adults ended up with bad stomach, of course not possible to prove it was from the breakfast...

Best regards
