Very nice rooms with beautiful view, great breakfast review and dinner (try the mega-big shrimp open sandwich) and access to nearby CityGym - all very centrally in Gothenburg.

Room Tip: As high as possible to maximize the view.

I stayed at this hotel while in Gothenburg for a concert. The room we got was very nice. Very wide, comfortable beds. When we arrived at our room, we were greated by a bottle of complimentary sparkling wine and Toblerone chocolate. Since it was on the 17th floor, the view of Gothenburg was magnificent. The staff was very service-minded and friendly. Much, much better than standard Swedish service level, if you know what I mean. We had our complimentary breakfast buffet in the restaurant on the 23rd floor which gives a great view of the city. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive with every possible type of food you might want. Internet connectivity is complimentary on the rooms, they even supply each room with an ethernet cable. Very close to the concert/sports venue Scandinavium, just a few hundred meters walk. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor (Incontro) served the by far tastiest pizza I have ever had in Sweden. Very thin crust, tasty tomato sauce and made of very fresh and high quality ingredients. To summarize, I can highly recommend this hotel to any traveller. I travelled with my 14 year old daughter, and she was also very happy with the hotel, the kind and polite staff, amenities and the restaurants. My only complaint is the elevators. Four elevators, but one was out of order, but the functional elevators were too slow. There was too much time spent waiting for elevators. I hope this can be fixed, otherwise no complaints.

Room Tip: Try to get a hotel high up in the building, since that will give you a nice view of the city, you wi...

Clean and comfortable rooms. Location very close to city centre and not too far from airport. Plenty of variety at breakfast. Free Wifi in rooms. Limited toiletries in the bathroom, only soap and shampoo provided so bring anything else you might need. Fantastic views from bar on top of hotel, it's worth a trip up the glass elevator to see the view!

The hotel location is perfect, max 20 minutes from most things in Gothenburg. The hotel staff was nice and we even got our room an hour early. The room was nice, with an ok tv and free wifi.

Good location, clean, efficient, comfortable room, good breakfast. Was busy though, and for people who don't mind being high up in a tower block.

The biggest advantage is hotels location, 20 mis from Landvetter airport, 10 min from central shopping, opposite Gothenburg popular amusement park - Liseberg and connected to exhibition center - there is no better place to stay in town. Hotel consist of two Towers ( East and West) and currently construction of third is in progress. That caused unfortunately a lot of inconvenience. Lots of construction work and noise from early morning and TV in rooms were not working due to upgrade of system. It was compensated by friendly staff though. Morning buffet offers a wide choice of continental and full breakfast. Must see is a spectacular view from restaurant Heaven 23 on the top of one tower. Overall all could be much nicer experience if not the construction work and not even a word of warning of apologies from management about inconvinience.

Gothia towers is a large, modern hotel not far from the centre of Gothenburg. On the plus side, rooms do have an iron and there is a free wireless internet connection throughout the hotel. The in-room wired internet access was excellent, fast with little latency.
On the minus side, the rooms aren't large. The minimalist Swedish room design looks and feels more cheap Travelodge than Bauhaus. The designer desk chair was actually very uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. The bed mattress was hard, the bed covers thin, the pillows small. The room just didn't feel friendly or welcoming. However the biggest problem was noise. The wooden parquet flooring means that you can hear every footstep of your neighbour above, and the wall shook noticeably when my next door neighbour shut their door. At the same time, the hotel was undergoing maintenance. The builders' deliveries arrived at 4.30am ready for the drilling and hammering to start at 7.20am. The mini-pillows aren't big enough to fold over your head to block out the noise.
The staff are pleasant and the breakfast was fine. If you are attending a conference in the hotel, then its probably an acceptable choice to minimise cross town travel. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable then I'm sure you can do better elsewhere.
