I have stayed at Gothia Towers several times for business and this time I stayed there for pleasure. I have tried various rooms on different floors with different views. This time we got a room really high up (on the 19th floor) overlooking the city, which was a lovely view. The advantage of that was that you did not hear the traffic noise from the trams which you might find a bit disturbing if you face the Korsvagen square opposite the hotel entrance. The room was a bit smaller than I had expected, but big enough for two people. The staff was very friendly and nice to us throughout our stay, from the check-in to when we left the luggage in their luggage room after check-out. The buffet breakfast is probably one of the best in Sweden and a real treat every morning. We did not visit the Heaven 23 bar this time but have done so in the past and it really is a must, especially in the summer. All in all a very good hotel experience and a good base from which to explore Gothenburg.
