Good hotel with everything you need... The location can't be better, the rooms are clean, the hotel staff is friendly and they make you feel very welcomed. The restaurant at 23ed floor is simply fabulous with stunning view over the whole city and beyond.

Hotel was pretty good, rooms and breakfast were ok. I had several problems with the reservation, though. I made my reservation via email, but they had bad communication problems. After staying for the first of our two nights I got an email that I had not paid for the first night and should contact the hotel immediately. They had my credit card number and the whole bill was supposed to be paid the day we leave, no in the middle of the stay!
Well, mistakes happen and I understand it, but a simple "Sorry" would be the right way to deal with a customer.

We stayed at Gothia Towers in December 2012: I still remember it as one of the best hotels I've been to: we were at the 11th floor with an amazing view on Goteborg! Modern furnishing, super excellent breakfast, clean rooms, nice top floor bar, a lovely reception with very nice front office girls...and it was really cheap! I will definitely choose Gothia Towers for my next goteborg's trip.

The most average you can imagine, nothing which strike you as excellent, but on the other hand not much to complain about either. Rooms generally clean, have found some Garbage a couple of times, but all in all ok. Location of hotel is good, near tram and busses, as well as Liseberg.
Breakfast is directly booring, same every day, bacon from burned black to not fried at all, all eggs hard boiled, etc, etc.
Nice view from the rooms, if you get a room high up. Steep prices in restaurants. Quick service in reception.
A few rooms are too near the elevator shaft, and have lots of noise.

We booked a package deal from Stena Line (ferry + 2 nights at Gothia Towers) some month ahead. That gave us a very good price. I was afraid, that perhaps a package deal-booking would give us a room less than standard, but that was not the case.

The beds - OMG - the best hotel bed I´ve ever slept in. Nice and wide and just the perfect amount of soft.
We had a view partly over Liseberg and partly over Korsvägen, which was perfect.

We arrived at 13:45-ish and could check in immediately.

The breakfast was insane - in a good way. It had everything you could wish for.
Well, almost. Being a person from Denmark, I did miss the "rugbrød" - but again, that´s something very "danish", so of course it´s not standard on a Swedish Hotel.

Great hotel, very clean, very modern and the staff are really good. Can't fault this except for the price, but that's Sweden for you!! Great views of the city from the 23rd floor restaurant. Breakfast is also very good wide a wide selection of items catering for all nationalities

Stayed in an ordinary double room on the 16th floor and was supposed to have breakfast at the restaurant on the second floor but upgraded for a small sum to floor 23. This was heavenly - instead of the busy and crammed big breakfast area you get to have a fantastic view of the entire of Gothenburg with your truly delicious meal. Very friendly and service minded staff too. A most pleasant experience which I really recommend and really changed my opinion of stay after I'd been not so nicely treated by the receptionist.

My complements to the excellent breakfast staff in Heaven 23! You're the reason I'm so positive to my hotel experience at Gothia Towers. I'll be back and are looking forward to the awesome pool you're building.

Room Tip: Stayed in room #1636 which was a corner room facing Ullevi.
