Very cheap for a Scandinavian hotel. Efficient staff and a great location. Even the breakfast was tolerable! The AC cannot be turned on or off manually, but is shut off overnight. Overall, a pleasant surprise.

Room Tip: Get a high up one, but the top floor is a bar

Stayed here for 4 nights at beginning of June, had a room on 13th floor in west tower with fantastic view looking out over Korsvägen and the Liseberg amusement park. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, ironing board, hairdryer, flat screen TV and high speed internet access. There is an ice machine situated in the corridor outside the rooms. Beds were extremely comfortable and provided a great sleep, and bathroom was clean and spacious with no shortage of hot water, no matter what time of day showering or bathing at and the air conditioning was completely noise free - only minor niggle was there were a couple of cigarette burns from previous guests as some stage on the desk and and the sink in bathroom. Despite being a large and extremely busy hotel, there are four elevators (in the west tower) and there is not long to wait to get up or down. It is around a 15/20 min walk from the hotel to the city centre but there is no shortage of trams and buses from the stop outside hotel which run frequently from 5am to around 2am, making it extremely easy to get about. Would definitely return to this hotel, was impressed with comfortable and relaxing stay.

Room Tip: Try to get a room as high up as possible to enjoy the views

Gothia towers is a huge hotel with conference facilities. You might get lost a bit. I stayed there for a business trip.

I had a nice spacious room with a lovely bed (slept really well). The breakfast was good.

When I had to go to the city center and it was raining I was could borrow an umbrella at the customer service. Gothia Towers makes sure that the client is happy.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view to the amusement park. It is really nice at night.

Stayed here four nights during recent conference event. The hotel is attached to the convention center so it's well suited for group conferences and meetings. The room I got on the west wing was quite small and walls paper-thin since I could hear the guy next door snoring all night long. The hotel is about 1 to 1.5km to the city center but not a bad leisure walk down Avenyn. Hotel is easily reached from/to the airport via Flybussarna bus (99SEK one way, 180SEK round-trip). The stop is Korsvagen with hotel across the road from the bus stop.
The included breakfast was pretty good with various cold cuts, hot plates(scrambled eggs, sausages, bacons, hard/soft boiled eggs), waffle stations and various fruits, yogurts and milk options.
Overall an average stay experience.

We decided to get a Sky Executive room that's situated on the 18th up to the 22nd floor. We got a room on the 19th floor with a wonderful view over Liseberg.
The people at the reception desk was very helpful and nice. The glass elevator is very cool and it didn't take long to travel up to the 19th floor. Since we got a Sky Executive room we got a free minibar and other discounts such as 10% on food in the InContro bar and restaurant. Comfortable beds and stylish overall.
The best perk was breakfast in Heaven 23 with a view over all of Gothenburg. The breakfast itself was the best I've ever had. Fresh fruit, make your own müsli, scrambled eggs and all you can imagine. I loved it! Go there if you can!

Room Tip: Choose a Sky executive room to get the perk of eating breakfast on the 23rd floor.

We are a family of 4 and booked the room about a month before arrival at Expedia.com. This might be a Expedia problem, but I called the receiption at the hotell before making the booking to confirm that it would be OK. We booked a Sky double-room with extra bed ( 2 adults, 2 children where entered into Expedia booking details), but on arrival only 2 single beds where placed in the room. After som discussion with receiption staff we where able to get another bed placed in the room, but this should be unneccasary, especially when I see that others have had the same problem before.
The hotel has a good location opposite Liseberg and a nice, modern look. Some construction work on the outside (they are building the 3rd tower), but did not really affect our stay. Nice breakfast on 23rd floor and good view from room and restaurant. They also have a Spa section where the pool is located on the outside of the building on a high floor (with view towards the ground). Worth a try, but we didn't this time (be aware of age limit 16, so no kids in there).
