Loved the room. Bathroom as well. Beds very comfortable and two duvets for a double bed which is standard in Sweden. Makes all the difference. The breakfast was good too. Lovely quiet small rooms to eat in. Cosy. Within easy reach to central station and botanical gardens, the Avenyn, Grönsakstorget and more. We stayed a Sunday night and it was great value for money.

Very nice location close to the central station and near Chalmers. Saw several other business travelers at breakfast. Breakfast included, typical nice Scandinavian eats. Friendly staff, and quite place.

Room Tip: Definitely a place to stay if you want a cheap, no frills, quiet and walking distance from the city central (downtown).

Booked in for a one night stay on business.
Firstly, the main door is up a short flights of steps so not good for the less mobile - checking in was very pleasant, the receptionist was very efficient and spoke very good English (us Brits are not generally good with other languages) - I was given room 108 on the same floor. Room was adequate for my needs, clean and tidy, very good bathroom set up and a window overlooking the decked courtyard. There are opening windows but I suspect that in the good weather, room 108 may be disturbed by people chatting under the open (but secure) windows However, be aware that being close to reception, noise travels easily and espcially in the early morning, I could hear almost everything said in recpetion as other guests trekked to the breakfast room which was in the cellar. Brilliant shower, the breakfast seemed OK but I only had cereals and the staff were very attentive. The onne downside to the hotel was the parking - apparently there is a hotel garage but it's some distance away so not really viable as I was running late, so I decided to park on the street in one of the general bays - the municipal street parking cost for overnight was £15.00, to me a real rip off as it was only from 1745hrs - 0845hrs, surely off peak? The main question is whether I'd go again? Yes, I would - there are some lovely non-touristy type places around the hotel in the Haga area, but I'd possibly not take a car with me unless we could find a cheaper parking alternative.

The hotel is very well located, the area has great restaurants and bars within a very short walking distance. The train station is also a walk or a tram ride away. The rooms were very clean and well equipped.

They have tea and coffee facilities in the lobby for guests to use at their leisure.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was a well stocked and very fresh buffet.

A perfect choice to stay in Göteborg. Cosy and clean with a very good breakfast at a reasonable price. Recommended for those who like a quiet hotel at the center of city. Perfect for couples and lonely travelers.
