We stayed here during our visit to Santa Clause Village. This place is a bit away from the hustle bustle of city centre so any one looking for a peaceful next to a river kind of a stay with a private Sauna in each Chalet, this is the place. The sunsets were beautiful from our chalet and the chalet was well equipped with all the amenities to cook one's own food. The Sauna in the Chalet was a huge plus point and I am sure in Winters people would enjoy it even more. The staff at the reception were indeed helpful and were kind to answer all the questions politely. The hotel has tons of activities right in the back yard, there are several hikes one could take, cycling or e-biking rides as well. in winters they also have skiing lifts, ice golf and tons of stuff. Great place for adventure enthusiast as well as nature lovers.

The restaurant by the river was incredible with an excellent location and they served delicious burgers and salads. We saw people coming on boat for a meal from various places and this place also had Sauna.

Highly recommended!!

Room tip: Room 71 - 74 have the best views.

We stayed here in September as we were travelling around Europe for 7 months. Having spent the rest of the trip in our campervan, we decided to treat ourselves. The private sauna was fantatic and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was great (I loved the cookies!) Before we left, the lady on reception drew us a map of the route we were going to take for the next few days and told us about some 'must see's along the way. Her advice shaped the next few days of the trip and we had a great time. We saw a red squirrel from our chalet too! We would definitely return.

Had a chalet by the river. Couldn't fault the place. The breakfast was perfectly adaquate in terms of quantity and variation of food. Chalet itself was wonderful for the five of us. The kitchen in there is only tiny so dont imagine cooking up some large meal for everyone. Loved it and price was exellent. Couldn't recommend this place enough !!!!

Room tip: Mosqitoes in summer are substantial . Take some protection with you

Visit during a cold December, these chalets were cosy, spotless and all the facilities required for a home from home. The kids beds upstairs were excellent and fun for small ones. Staff in hotel were great and knowledgeable for the area. Highly recommend this resort.

We were on a small group tour discovering Lapland in Finland. Rovaniemi is the central town of this region. This hotel is a bit outside the city. 1.5 km walk which in winter may not be easy. The hotel is spread so when we ate at the hotel restaurant we had to walk cca. 500 m to the central building. We had a superior chalet which contains 3 rooms. 2 bedrooms on two floors and a living room + kitchenette. Overall, may house 6 people. For 2 it was comfortable and clean. The room was not cleaned or visited by housekeeping during our 3 days stay. Beds uncomfortable. Sauna attached to the bathroom. The staff is very nice and the food at the hotel restaurant is good.
