This little bar is located a bit off from the city centre but is worth the trip (15-20min with subway). The place packs a broad selection of beers both local and international, with many highly interesting and hard-to-find brews. Besides the beers, there are over 500 Scotch single malts that should keep the aficionados satisfied more than well. The only downside is the lack of food (except for snacks). The bartenders have very good knowledge of their products and the owner is a passionate man who does this fully-hearted.

If you are interested in beers and visit or live in Finland, you must visit this place.

Pikkulintu is for passionate beer and wiskey drinkers with an aquired taste. The authentic local setting, alongside with friendly and knowledgable bartenders brings the best out of your experience.

Wide selection of beers and whiskeys. The friendly staff really knows their business and can give you good recommendations and background info about all the good stuff. Not very close to Helsinki city center, but still worth the visit. Highly recommended!

I used to live across the street from this pub for 3,5 years. It has the greatest whiskey collection I've ever seen in Finland. The owner is a hobbyist and brings back all kinds of neat special bottles from his trips. Usually they have a "whiskey of the week" to recommend.

Had my most expensive whiskey at this pub for 280€ once.

If 'er into beer and single malts this place is worth a visit. Located in a distant suburb in the east [@Edefelt "harsh" would be an unlikely attribute unless one's from Strömsö] of Helsinki. The location (a fifties mall evading a demolition verdict) gives an opportunity to sell a wide range with decent prices [ie these guys probably pay no rent...]. Has been mentioned in some global whisky publications for the variety in singles. The beer selection is American, Scandinavian & domestic with only one generic lager on tap.

What's most exciting about the place is that they do not play any music. Ever. Can you even imagine that nowadays? Best time for a pint of Mikkeller, Nögne or Great Divide is weekdays after work. You can hear the silence when a pair of regulars stare at their pints and enjoy the comfortable silence. Oh.
