Beautifully appointed rooms and public areas, this hotel reflects true class. It has been restored to reflect its 1890 pedigree evident in the large rooms, wide corridors, atmospheric bar and restaurant. The deluxe king bed room was warm and inviting with beautiful marble bathroom with bath and shower. The Kamp Bar has great ambience and if you are staying on a Saturday night is full of local characters and great fun. For those wanting a lighter breakfast there is a Karl Fazer Cafe right across the street. It would be hard to stay anywhere else in Helsinki after this flawless stay.

Room Tip: Overlooking the Esplanade would be good.

Still the best quality hotel in Helsinki. I have stayed here many times over the years and it is still a great hotel. The rooms are real quality , good sized ,excellent facilities . Love the duck in the bath. High quality bathrooms with lots of marble. Good gymn although wish it was open 24hrs. Good room service and restaurants offer excellent food. Friendly and attentive staff.

Lots oh history tjis is one of the oldest hotels in Helsinki. This is where the titans of helsinki's cultural elite used to drink in th 19th century. Now it's a modern five star hotel with a lively bar. A must try!

The Hotel Kamp has a wonderful location that is within walking distance to great retail, the port, and numerous restaurants. The rooms are a little tired and in need of an update. Review your bill closely on checkout. My bill had several charges that were supposed to be included in the rate. For breakfast, I highly recommend going to the Fazer Bakery just across the pedestrian street. They have a very good self service breakfast buffet for under 13 Euros. The restaurant was kept busy with a constant stream of very well dressed Helsinki residents.

Very comfortable and well-furnished rooms. The buffet breakfast is remarkable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Public spaces in particular the bar have a welcoming and charming atmosphere, where you are sure to meet a few familiar faces.
