My husband and I were travelling with teenage daughter, we opted to upgrade to the Business Suite, room 733, to have us all sleep in same room. Was well worth it! Large oversized king size bed (actually 2 twin mattresses together with twin bedding) and sofa in room that pulls out to bed plus 2 rocking chairs and desk, very roomy. Loved the heated floor in bathroom and soft terry robes and complimentary slippers. Shower and tub and husband appreciated higher shower head. Room did have air conditioning and fridge/mini-bar, but very expensive. Go to the "R" kioski across the street for snacks. There's Subway sandwich shop across the street too. 15 minute walk to Esplandi and Helsinki Harbor and more sightseeing. Petro (front desk) was pleasant and breakfast buffet was impressive; cheeses, sausage, bacon, breads, rolls, pastries, cereal, juices, fruit, eggs, hot milk for hot chocolate, various coffees, and daughter enjoyed drinkable yogurt smoothies. Note: use room key at entryway to operate all electrical for room - they don't tell you that @ check-in. Would stay again!

Room Tip: rooms on the 7th floor have a great view, they suggest you get to the breakfast buffet before 9am, w...

I was staying here one night when on business in Helsinki. I really haven't got much to say about it but I will comment on two things that completely took the rating to a "3".

For starters the room is perfectly okay, bed is very comfortable and very clean. Bathroom is big with huge bathtub, shower works great.
They were quick at having me checked in and also checked out. To mayor rule breakers went down though: The wake up call never happened. They had supposedly an automatic version where you could yourself order it but I did the good old way and called the reception to assure the information was captured. Luckily enough I woke up on time, but what if I had a plane to catch? Not good.

Also for being a four star hotel, the breakfast was for sure lacking in interest. Not sure if it was the lack of service or just a case of high season but it looked like a mess. I specifically asked for gluten and wheat free bread and they came with some after 15 minutes approximately. I am not sure it was wheat free though as I am still suffering a bit from cramps. From all the breakfasts I have had in this standard of a hotel, this one was a bit disappointing.

Room Tip: Rooms are fine, just worry about perhaps having breakfast elsewhere :)

A very nice and clean hotel for a nights visit, but rooms are very warm, windows do not open and airco was not working, so me and all other members of my travelling party in other rooms had large difficulty sleeping. breakfast is nice and dinner also OK. if you do not sleep (or maybe in cold wintertime), hotel is perfect ;). hotel is quite expensive.

Hotal is very well located: 20 min till the port from which the ferries go to Tallin, 20 min till the sandy beach, 5 min till Stockmann shopping centre.
Room 602 was very spacious and with the possibility to open the window. in most rooms you cannot open windows. Firniture and carpets is fresh
Breakfast is ok. Staff is VERY helpful.
Very good ratio of price and quality.

The Hotel is situated slightly off-centre in Helsinki. Nevertheless, the metro is just next doors, and a very nice urban large place with all kind of commerce is within in 2 minutes walk further on.

The staff are very friendly, correct and forthcoming. The rooms are rather spacious, especially the bath. Combied with the advantegeous deal I had, this was real good value for money. As in many Finish hotels, the basic ventilation is very low and the windows cannot be opened. The room climate can become hot and heavy in summer and it might be necessary to let on the air conditioning all night in order to be able to sleep. (Still, the outside air would have provided the same effect.)

Breakfast is until 1030 h. Combined with the large number of non-buisness guests this produces a run for breakfast around 1000 h. In the elevators, there is a small notice that asks the guests to breakfast earlier, if possible. The management might just consider extending the breakfast time, especially on week-ends.

Really good location, close to the bus station and shopping centre. Nice clean rooms. Rooms are modern and a decent size. Air conditioned rooms with tea and coffee facilities. They also have flat screen tv and mini bar. Ice machines are in the hallways. There is a buffet breakfast, with juices, tea, coffees, yoghurts, cereals, meats and cheese, fruits, bacon, eggs, toast, bread and rolls. There is a restaurant and bar, the cocktails are the best!!
