Stayed there twice. Nothing negative. You get exactly what you pay for. No luxury but real service. Reception is helpful always, but just look tired often. Brekfast is fresh and changes often. Pool available as well as sauna. Not too far from the city center, nice quiet district.

Room Tip: All rooms are pretty much the same. Just take what you want, no need to overpay.

I was very surprised about this hotel. Although it is situated in the suburbs of the Helsinki, convenient direct connections link it with the city centre and the airport.
The hotel service was always nice and helpful. I really appreciate a business room, where you can work on a computer and print for free.
The room was very nice and clean and offers a lot of opportunities. There is wifi-connection, superb TV and minibar.
Also breakfast is in the price of the room (which is really a bargain for such services) - you can choose from a lot of meals.
I can only recommend this hotel for everyone.

We stayed here on two occasions when visiting Helsinki and taking the mini cruise to St Petersburg in July. The hotel is outside the city but the bus stop is 100 metres away and the fare is E 2.70 to the train terminus and city centre. It is easy and E.30 for the taxi to the airport.
The room is average size but the bed is comfortable.. The breakfast in very good with Finnish specialities and the restauant meals were good. The staff are very helpful.
There is not a great deal around the hotel in the way of bars or shops but you can go for a pleasant walk in the wood and see a fascinating pet cemetary. We did not have time to use the pool or sauna.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front can be noisy at certain times of the day as there are two roads in front of the hotel

This hotel does not deserve BW Plus-level. Basic room with refrigerated air conditioning. Very small bathroom. Rooms were renovated 5 yrs ago. Breakfast was served in a cosy restaurant Haaga Inn, good breakfast buffet. Big swimming pool. Room price(75 €/night, parking hall 14 €/night. Restaurant closed already at 10.30 p.m. Free WiFi.

This hotel was a great place to stay. It was very comfortable, the price was much lower than in the other Helsinki hotel we stayed at in the city center, the staff was very helpful, and the sauna was the perfect way to relax at the end of a full day of sight-seeing. The breakfast buffet included in the room's price was diverse and excellent. The bed was the most comfortable that my husband and I had slept on in a long time. The air conditioning worked correctly and the shower did not leak (unlike some other hotels we stayed in on our trip).

The staff was great. As another reviewer mentioned, the greeting on the TV was personalized for us. When we fiddled around with it and managed to accidentally change the language to Russian, we called the desk. Within a short time we had a visit from a tech-savvy staff member who fixed it for us. The people at the desk were very helpful and friendly.

The only downside is that it is fairly far from the city center, but it is on a bus route that takes you downtown in fairly short order. The lower room price made it well worth the trip into town.

We would heartily recommend this as a very comfortable hotel and an excellent value.
