I'm happy I visited Mannerheim Museum in Helsinki. The museum is actually his last house in Finland before retiring to Montreux for finals year of his incredible life.
The building was owned by Fazer's family and Mannerheim was renting it from them.
The guided tour is complete and the spokesman is good in his job, telling you a lot of details of Mannerheim life. When I ended the tour I asked myself how can a single man had such a rich life filled with travels around the world, adventures, wars and diplomatics event. The military decorations room is astonishing. I founded also curious the fact that he enjoyed the menu composing for guests dinners and parties.
What a great personality of XX century.
