We visited the square on a very pleasant, sunny day when there were several activities happening within its confines. Two uniformed bands played for over an hour before a sizable crowd of locals and visitors seated on the church steps and around the statues. It was enjoyable and entertaining. Without this bonus I think that the square could lose some of its attraction, though the Lutheran Church at the top of the steps is a view not to be missed. It's well worth a visit, but much depends on what's going on at the time. .
