Let me give you some perspective. I have been to several restaurants from Farang, East in Stockholm, NOBU in Las Vegas, Sushi places in Tokyo etc. so take it as an attempt to provide some unbiased view on good vs. price. We booked a birth day dinner here with my family. It is a small restaurant with 5 tables and some seats at a window bar. The interior is quite basic. The menu consists of around 6-7 starters and same amount of mains. The drinks menu is a tight selection of wine and beer but good quality/price ratio. For starters we had 4 different things Edamame (soy beans), Deep fired Snow crab balls, Fish tartar, Beef Tataki salad. All, in all solid, the fish tartar comes close to high quality restaurants like NOBU in terms of taste and quality. For mains the kids had the corn fried chicken Katsu with potato salad. Adults had the Crispy Pork belly and the Bi Bim Bap. The pork and Bi Bim Bap were really good. The fried chicken did not really taste like anything asian and the Potato salad was pretty bland. For dessert we had the Fudge Brownie and Kahlua Ice cream which was really good as well as the Guava Cheese cake. All in all, it was not Michelin quality but nor was the price. It was really affordable for the price you pay. The food was great and the service was friendly. It took a while to to get the food but it was made a la minute and you could taste it. We paid 155 euros for 2 kids and 2 adults with wine and 3 courses so you could say it was quite a good value for being downtown Helsinki. Also, during our 2 hours in the establishment we saw 5 asian persons coming in for food so it should be some kind of proof that it is quite authentic.
