The steak was precisely the way I wanted it.
Side dishes were also tasteful as was the wine.
The cellar adds to the atmosphere and makes the evening a succes.
All in all a place to return to.....and I did...

Great restaurant in the very centre of Turku. Nice friendly service and quiet atmosphere. And the best meal (fish) I have had in a long time! I strongly recommend.

We had family dinner at 5 pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant was completely empty when we entered, but it was a warm summer afternoon (=people prefer outdoors), so probably the place gets busier come Winter.

We were very satisfied with our food. Escargot as a starter were delicious, my & daughter's salmon and my husbands steak were excellent. Dessert were heavenly.

The service was good, but a bit slow considering we were the only customers at the time.

Pricewise this is of the higher end of family restaurants, starters and desserts around 12 euros, main courses around 30 euros but as this does not belong to any chain, we still think it is a good choise for good food. Total bill for 3 course meal for 3 persons (including 1 glass of wine) came about 160 euros. Food was so good, that we will come back - though maybe not every weekend.

This is a cellar restaurant, so people with mobility issues may find few steps from the street difficult.

This Restaurant is downstairs in Cellar Looking Rooms. The Reindeer was outstanding as was the Wine. Highly recommend it. Can't give any idea on price as someone else picked up the tab but I would certainly visit again.

This place used to be famous for its game such as beaver but its a long long time ago. We were told that now again some game dishes were served so we gave it a try. Once upon a time this place was rather stuffy now its puritanical, white painted ventilation and heating pipes on the ceiling, blank Ikea type tables and hard chairs, simple but efficient service and 2 surprisingly good game dishes, pheasant and roe deer both succulently prepared and even the potatoes and vegetables were eatable only the brown sauce lacked fantasy and would bore more than twice a year. As the price for the whole package is rather inflated and the chances to be served dry pheasant and roe deer is generally high anywhere, I only hesitantly recommend a place where I have recently eaten only once.
