We enjoy visiting this cafe at lunchtime for a laid-back meal - not hard work here. We have been there a few times. Previous visit we had the starter of assiette of cold meats followed by chevre chaud and steak frites. All beautifully cooked and full of taste. On our last visit we wanted something light and chose ham omelettes and frites (natch!). The omelette was cooked very well.
Their meals, enjoyed with a carafe of wine or a cold beer, are excellent value for money.
The cafe has an adjacent car park. Or why not drive down Allee de Coreilhes to the Dordogne, park beside the river, go for a walk to build an appetite, then return to gentle cafe.
When Ste Foy is bustling, and the square is too busy, this is where the French have their lunch.
We're going back!
